It’s Black History Month and what better way to celebrate than to go to an event honoring Eunice W. Johnson, the visionary and creator of Ebony Fashion Fair -The World’s Largest Traveling Fashion Show. The beautiful event was held at Macy’s Department store at Lenox Mall in Buckhead.
The event was hosted by Amy Barnett, the Editor in Chief of Ebony Magazine. She was there to give insight on Eunice W. Johnson’s extraordinary life and her contributions to the beauty and fashion industry. There was also an exhibit where you could see haute couture gowns and different fashion designer’s creations from Mrs.Johnson’s personal vault that were featured in her many exquisite shows.

The attendees also got to sample new cosmetics from Fashion Fair that were from their Limited Edition lipstick collection, For the Love of Color line. People also got to take a keepsake photo, nosh on great bites, drink cocktails and hear great music. It was a lovely affair and I loved seeing all the beautiful dresses up close. You also got to take home a great black Macy’s tote bag with a purchase of $40.00 that had makeup, and an Ebony Magazine inside. I would like to thank Macy’s for inviting me out, what a great time I had.
