Earth Wind and Fire’s bassist, Verdine White shined on the red carpet at the 20th Annual Trumpet Awards today! He wore a green velvet blazer, black rhinestoned dress shirt with matching tie and black slacks. Black p-framed glasses and his diamond stud earrings were also sparkling on the catwalk. What caught my attention most was when I took a picture of his black patent leather Louis Vuitton formal damier shoes!
In person you had to see them, they were haute! I’m never really that amazed at men’s shoes on the red carpet but Verdine has nice taste in shoes I see! Great job, you did your thing! Here is a pair I found online that was similar to what he was wearing!
Yes, you already know I LOVE this cover shoot of Katy Perry for InStyle Magazine’s October issue! It was shot in Pasadena,California at a beautiful home built by Floyd Lloyd Wright. The shoot was inspired by actress Rachel from the movie, Blade Runner. How lovely she looks rocking that pink hairdo! She is wearing an Emanuel Ungaro dress, adorned with a Louis Vuitton belt on the cover.Many of her pieces are also from the Louis Vuitton 2011 Fall Collection. In the second picture she wears a Miu Miu dress with sparkly Adeler earrings, too cute! This magazine is on news stands now. This is my pick for a great Pinktastic Saturday, how appropriate!
