Last night my blog winner and I went to a launch party for Glitzy Lips held at J Mont Studios in Atlanta. Rosalyn Wilson who owns Chic Boutique Tours, won a night out with me and we had a fabulous time! We were suppose to go to a red carpet event a few days prior but it was thunderstorming out, so we decided not to get our hair,shoes and ball gowns all messy!
I thought the Glitzy Lips event that I was invited out to was fun, so we headed there instead. I had never heard of the eye-popping lip foil designs but I did see Christina Aguilera wear some sparkly red lips on tv last year. I was trying to figure out that shade of red lipstick for weeks! Come to find out it was this new lip foil that lots of people are rocking!
When we arrived at the venue, it was wall-to-wall women waiting in line to get their lips glitzed! We both patiently waited our turns while trying to decide on which colors we were going to wear. You know your girl wanted pink and the owner AthenA Elliott suggested I rock Pink Couture,the name alone made me want it! Rosalyn decided on a two shaded glimmer gold and pink combo.
It’s an easy process here’s how it works:
start with clean dry lips free from lipstick or gloss
measure the foil and pick a color of choice
shake glitzy lips primer
have your lips in ahhh position,slightly stretched into a smile
apply the lip primer, wait till its dry
when primer is dry,add lip foil
repeat to complete the perfect pout
It’s also easy removal,all you need to use is a babywipe. I had no problem taking it off when I got home. It’s suppose to last for up to 8hrs but I’m telling you now, if you are drinking and eating a lot, it’s not going to stay. I would use this for a fun photo opt or New Year’s Eve party, girls night out, just for kicks. It was a nice event and I know that Rosalyn enjoyed herself as well! As we left, we also got to take a goody bag home with colorful foils and primer inside, I just may use some tonight as we celebrate the New Year! Be safe and Happy New Year everyone!!!! xoxo

They also have three new Rouge Allure satin lipstick shades: Belgravia, a vibrant rose hue; Hyde Park, a coral pink hue; and Kensington, a bold fuchsia hue.
