I’ve been knowing Gyant for a very long time here in Atlanta,Ga. I’ve seen him grow so much in the entertainment business and land some great interviews. We both started out at the same time and we have always stayed in touch.

He writes for several websites and has his own blog called, GyantUnplugged. He also has a tv show on Comcast plus a column on Bet.com. I’m so proud of him and recently he asked me to come by his new radio show on BeehiveFm. I was so happy to go down and chat it up with Gyant on new things that I am doing.

When I got to the Beehive, I felt great spirits in the room and I knew we were going to have a great time! First thing I heard was Gyant placing an order for lemon peppered wings with sprinkles. I said, “what’s with the sprinkles”? Everyone was saying “oh you gotta try these wings,Tami!” I was very curious to taste them lol.

On the air Gyant and I discussed, red carpets, my favorite interviews, celebs,gossip and breast cancer awareness and what was next for me. My assistant Pia was snapping pictures and I then brought out the Barefoot Wine bubbly to celebrate his new venture.

I really enjoyed going down to Gyant’s show and meeting his sidekicks, Nate Butler and Toi Green and producer! They were so fun and hyper just like me lol. The wings came shortly afterwards and we smashed them.

Last night I had a very exciting time going to the Converse Tip Off party held at the Georgia Freight Depot. It was wall to wall people there enjoying this festive event!

Griffy tk was hosting live from the “hardwood carpet” interviewing guest about the Converse Take over  in Atlanta the event and  their sneakers lol. Lots of celebs came out to support this event and I got a chance to see the latest collection, talk to execs and network.

They did a great job of putting on this event, I must say I was very impressed. I wore my new converse sneakers and alot of my friends were surprised to see my so dressed down.

Last night guests were invited  to Atlantic Station to see the second installment of Tyler Perry’s movie Why Did I Get Married Too?. Everyone was in the lobby chatting about how good the last movie was and how eager they were to see the second one. I enjoyed the first movie and Tosha Smith really stole the show lol. The red carpet brought out two of the Atlanta Housewives, Kandi Burruss and Lisa Wu Hartwell.

I loved Kandi’s shoes, they were too hott and I loved her fuscia fitted dress. She also brought her mom.Speaking of moms, I also saw Neyo’s mom Lorraine Smith and T Pain’s mom Ms. Najm. Some celebrity sightings I saw were Yung Joc, Alphonso Ribeiro, Terri J Vaughn, Michael Jai White, local radio personalities Wanda Smith, Miss Sophia and kid actors (that played in this movie) Tyson Gilmore and Nia Iman.

I must say that this movie took alot of twist and turns. I was not expecting to see alot of the characters do certain things, like Janet Jackson, wow! She really played that role! Tosha Smith was funny as ever and Tyler Perry did his thing.This movie was more of a thriller, this time around. The Bahamas scene was very pretty and I loved seeing Cicely Tyson appear. She is my all time favorite actress and her and Louis Gossett jr played a loving couple. The fashions were Pinktabulous and I loved all the couples home decor.

After the movie, we headed over to Strip for the after party. There, alot of people chatted about the movie and what was their favorite scenes. We nibbled on bites and mingled with the crowd. Last night I got a chance to get my boogy on! I had so much fun hanging out with Editor in Chief Isoul Harris and Corinna Allen lifestyle reporter for CBS Better Mornings. We were all celebrating the Spring Issue and Corinna having a column in 944 Magazine! Atlantas hottest celebs,stylists,industry people and more came out to support the magazine!
