Jayda Boo

Yesterday was a memorable experience in more ways than one. Jayda Cabbell (who some of you may know as “Jayda Boo” if you’ve been reading my blog for awhile) and her husband Johnnie Cabbell has launched a great business. You may think thats not so memorable but to Jayda it is because she’s a Katrina survivor and she launched her business on the 5th Anniversary of it to pay homage to the victims of the storm.

Jayda has always been a Diva to wreckin with. Sometimes we chat soo long of all the passionate things she wants to do with her life and how she can help others. She will forever be blessed because her heart is in the right place. I think more people need to be like her and get off their butts and help someone else out.

Their facility is an event rental space,lounge cafe and more. There is 3 sections to the building where you can have private events without disturbing the other guests.It’s equipped with flat screen tvs, projector screen,bar area,patio, full stage and dj booth and valet services.You can come to Licquid and relax while have a cup of coffee, while surfing the internet. You can have an event, private screenings,mini concert or listening party, book signing, workshops,private catered dinner parties and more! I plan on having a bloggers workshop there really soon. Licquid is located in the Castleberry Hills section of Atlanta where a lot of new businesses seems to be popping up.

Jayda was too excited to cut the ribbon and get the second line going lol. She had lots of people come out to support her with her board members by her side.DJ Blak was playing some great tunes, while people toured the space. I also loved the idea of the New Orleans style snow balls truck pulling up and serving us a cold treats.Enjoy the pictures and many years of success to The Cabbells. My Jayda Boo turned 34 last night and we celebrated with her by going bowling. It was a very intimate affair with family and close friends. The birthday party was held at 300 Bowling Alley. We laughed,ate and danced at this hip bowling alley. Jayda was happy to be turning another year and she doesn’t look a day over 25! Her hubby,Johnnie Cabbell was in tow, with his phone up to his ear making deals.

I had a great time last night hanging out with R&B crooner Robert “R.L” Huggar member of the group Next. The private dinner party was held at Uptown Lounge and given by his beautiful longtime girlfriend Lena Chenier. It was filled with his close friends,manager,and family. He received a blingy gold watch from his longtime manager/best friend Lance Kragness.I was not aware that R.L. was a songwriter too. He has written songs for Jaheim, Lloyd, and so many others. I loved the song Wifey and use to hand dance to that song all the time. Even Lloyd stopped by to wish him well!

We had a great dinner that consisted of, Crab cake basil anglaise,gumbo shots, salad, brandied filet mignon, Creamy sherry tilapia and for dessert blue velvet cake. Now you guys see why I cant loose weight. Everything was really tasty! The chef for the night was Cynthia Bailey who’s co owner of Uptown Lounge. She looked very haute to be a chef lol. If I was cooking meals, I wanna look like that too ha! Cynthia also gave R.L. one of her favorite signature drinks, that looked tasty!

The evening was fun and R.L. danced to Michael Jackson and even got up to sing a song. We had so much fun and I want to thank R.L. and Lena for the personal invite. Enjoy the pics!

Go Browns!!!!!! Thats all I have to say lol. Why o why can’t we win a super bowl? Last night we gathered at Ixtlans to root the New Orleans Saints on! My girl Jayda Cabbell really knows how to throw a party! It was the 2nd Annual Sexy Super Bowl,only this year it was Jaydas hometown in the super bowl.

At first it was not looking good for the Saints until after half time when It picked up, I was worried for a minute whew! Jayda’s hubby Johnnie Cabbell betted $500 that the Colts would take it. I betted 5.00 ha! Jayda tweeted that her hubby would be sleeping on the back porch after the Saints would whoop the Colts! Well Johnnie ,I hope you had a blanket,it was chilly out lol.

During half time, we had some live entertainment from 2 young men that I didn’t know. It was fun! One was able to pick me up, so I was feeling sexy ,so the gym is paying off lol. The guest were also able to pick up some lil goodies from the passion lady for your significant other. I loved the pink tickler too funny!
