I thought that Pink did an amazing job at the grammys and to be able to sing mid air takes alot of whind while spinning around. I was dizzy watching her and give her a lot of credit for coming up with such a theatrical performance. Did you guys know she got her start right here in Atlanta? Yes L.A. Reid found her.

It was quite different from the norm I must say so. You can telll she put in hours on end to be able to pull that stunt off, so I just wanted to give her a shout out and tell her she really captivated the audience and I was impressed! Great job! I want to really know where she got those rhinestoned stilettos omg Pinktastic! She really stole the show!

You know that I could not leave my girl Lady GaGa out of my post today lol. She always delivers and that gives me something to write about. I love her style and only Lady Gaga can pull this off lol. Last night at the Grammys I counted 4 wardrobe changes this time.Each one more sparklier than the last costume lol. Here are some of her looks from the Grammys last night. I saw her holding a couple of Grammys so, evidently she won for some categories, we just didn’t see her receive them.Great job Lady GaGa. Take a looky!

I had a ball watching the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards last night. It was held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Without my twitter friends I don’t know if I would have been able to sit through it but I managed lol. I thought that Beyonce did just ok but I really wish she would have song something more upbeat. the tribute to Michael Jackson was nice,Mary J Blige and Andrew did a great job as well as the Black Eye Peas.

Lady GaGa and Elton John did a great job, I love Elton he is such a great sport! I loved how Jamie Foxx came out,that was funny and then T-Pain was the conductor with white wig, hilarious. I thought that Pink stole the show as she song live doing a trapeze act mid air.Great Job Pink, your body looked amazing! I think I would have liked to see Lady Gaga get an award on air.

She looked so disappointed in the audience. Taylor Swift took home Album of the Year and alot of people are questioning why? I know why because we parents give our kids to much darn allowance money, and who is the most spenders? Tweens! Overall it was a nice show, I could have been cleaning out the closet but my twitter friends kept me amused!

Last week Grammys Atlanta held a reception for Atlanta nominees at the W Hotel(www.whotels.com)  in downtown Atlanta. Southern region artists,singers,rappers,music producers,songwriters and more that received nominations for Grammys got acknowledged for all their hard work. Lots of people in the music industry were in attendance like,DJ Toomp,Bangelash,Dallas Austin,T.I.,Jan(voice coach) that appeared on Atlanta housewives,The Blind Boys of Alabama,and many more. I was so excited to meet Ms. Jan Smith(www.jansmith.com)  and introduced myself to her when she told me that she already knew who I was,wow! She said she seen my show and that she knew one of my guests that had appeared on it. Shari Freidman(www.sharifitness.com)  is Jan’s trainer and she appeared on my Girls Nite In show. Wow, small world lol.

Last nite I was invited to an extroidinary event! Kevan Hall, which Is well renowned for his dazzling gowns was in Atlanta,Ga to show is Spring/Summer 09 collection, which was called Africa: A Safari. The event was held at Twelve Hotel in Atlantic Station. Lexus was the sponsor.

Actress,Holly Robinson Peete was the host of the show and she talked about her sons Autism and how any outfits purchased would benefit her non profit organization called, www.HollyRob4Kids.org. I had a chance to interview Holly and she spoke of how expensive it is to care for children with Autism and how there is so many kids being diagnosed with this horrible disorder. Some celebs that came out to support was Keisha Knight,Essence from Half and Half,Boris Kodjoe and his wife, Angie Stone,athletes and many more.

I must say I was blown away. The show started off with a tribal dance and boy were they talented! Kevan showed 59 pieces and they were gorgeous and especially the long gowns omg! From what I found out, his gowns are worn all over the red carpets like the SAG Awards, Emmy’s,Golden Globes,Image Awards and more. Ruby Dee wore his dress to the Oscars which she was nominee. Kevan’s inspiration he told me came from Dinka,Maasai and Zulu Tribes. Kevan lives in Los Angeles,Ca and has been a designer for over 20 years. There was a multil colored hand painted  gown that I recognized, come to find out Kimora Lee wore it on a red carpet not to long ago, price tag $12,000.00 smack a roos wow!.

The rest of his collection can run you from $1,400.00 and up. To see the craftmanship up close and personal, you have to give it to him,Kevan makes any women look beautiful! The clothing was so detailed and oh so pretty. Kevan used mud cloths, tattoo matelasse,crushed organza,printed chiffons and painted twill for this collection. The collection made you feel like you were on a real safari.
