I love me some Whitney Houston! When I was little I would always mimic her because she was my idol! Ive been watching her on Oprah for two days now and Ive cried so much watching her. Ive never done drugs but plenty of people in my family have. Ive seen how it can take control over you and make you somebody your really not. Its heart breaking and Im so glad that she got help and kept God on her side.Take it slow Whitney and do one day at a time.Im very proud of you and dont stop, keep doing your thing. God has given you a great talent utilize it and always give back. Oprah did a great job with the interview as well. Whitney’s Album is number #1! I know she will go platinum! Keep your head up girl, you’ve made it this far! Your glam squad also deserves a standing ovation because they have put some great looks together for you, what a true diva! You sound terrific! cokored 0004 Pink Spotlight Interview:Coko!

TalkingWithTami.com: Coko, I would love to know what youve been up to for the past couple of years? For the past couple of years I have been busy.

I’ve gotten married and had another baby, then released a Grammy nominated

gospel project titled “Grateful” and now released “A Coko

Christmas.”

Pink Spotlight Interview:Coko!  TalkingWithTami.com: Can you tell me how you balance a family and career,

whats your secret recipe? It can be hard at times but communication is key.

When I’m home I try to spend as much time as possible with my family. My

husband is on the road more than I am so quality time is key.

TalkingwithTami.com: Tell me what made you want to do a Christmas Cd(A Coko

Christmas)? My label thought it would be a good idea and a nice set up to

the next record I have coming out.

TalkingWithTami..com: I love mommies who include their children in their

business! I heard your youngest son Sir Jalen on one of your songs. How many

kids do you have and are any singers? I have 2 boys Sir Jalen is 5 and

Master Jazz is 13. They both are really good singers. My mom and I work with

them all the time. Pink Spotlight Interview:Coko!

TalkingWithTami.com: Give the readers some good advice if they want to start

out in a group or just want a solo singing career? Be focused and make

sure this what you really want to do. It’s a lot of hard work and

dedication. Make sure you have great management, attorney’s and

accountants.

But most of all stay on top of your business yourself….stay hands on!

Educate yourself…I can keep going but I’ll stop…lol!!!
