Rows of goodies lol
As you guys already know,I love to thrift shop and antique shop. My style is pretty eclectic so I’m all over the place. When my house was made over on HGTV’s Deserving Design that really was not my style but great for tv lol. Vern did a great job on our house but I picked out something that would satisfy my hubby and also something durable for my kids lol. If it was left up to me, I would have pink,white and lace everywhere. I love shabby chic.

I asked my daughter to come hang out with me yesterday and she quickly gave me the side eye. She said, “mom no”! I said,” oh come on, I won’t be in there long”. She just looked at me and said,”ok but I need some new colored pencils”.So off we went down the road to Queen of Hearts Antique & Interiors. They do not have a website but they have 3 locations. The one I frequent is located at 4125 Ga.Highway 20, Buford,Ga 30518.
Vintage items,so fun!
In this store, you will get overwhelmed because of all the rows and rows of stuff. If your looking for jewelry,hats,vintage clothes,furniture,gloves,purses,knick knacks or whatever they have it for sure! When we walked in, I saw soo much new stuff!

There is also this lady that has 3 booths inside the store and her name is Debbie Shine. Her little boutique is so sparkly with rhinestones everywhere, I love it! I stop by her booth every time I go there . On this visit she was finally there! She told me she was a actress but this was her passion,her lil boutique. I bought a gorgeous silk flower from her. She told me how to wear it in my hair or pin it to my clothing, very sweet.

If your are ever in the Buford,Ga area please stop in, you never know what you may see. I even spotted some toys from my past that brought back alot of memories.They always have some surprises in there.The prices vary because its not a thrift store, but most items are still reasonable. Today I got to see something too amazing! Mimi Tin is a graphic designer by trade but she also has launched a new and chic line of asian inspired furniture and dolls! The event was held at the cutest candy store called, Green’s owned by Tommy Green and located in Decatur,Ga.The name of the line is called, Sushistyle which is uniquely styled ottomans,benches and chairs. All the pieces remind you of sushi. The furniture would look really cool in chic hotels,spas,lounges, because they are functional and eye catching. The materials are Micro-Fiber Suede,Soft Foam and Wooden Base.
The Cali Pouf
This trendy designer told me that she was in grad school when she had to design something that resembled pop art. She didn’t want to do paintings or art but wanted to create something that really popped, so she designed the sushi inspired furniture pieces. She made a couch prototype first and it took off from there!

She said it took her 10 years to develop the brand and it was a lil frustrating at first. It’s been worth all the effort she says giggling. She has two cute nieces that are twins, named Brooke and Sydney Tin. She decided later to add them to her collection with the plush dolls,poufs and tee shirts. The girls are too cute and I love the dolls pink and purple outfits, too fierce for words! I had the pleasure of meeting the two sweethearts today at the launch party and they were full of energy and as glamourous as their dollies!

We also had a lil entertainment at the party from a cute lil lad by the name of Aidan Hornaday! Aden played the harmonica and he was the cutest 9 yr old I’ve ever seen! What a talented young man! My son told him he was going to manage him lol.

Mimi later told me that if your hearts desire is to launch any business, especially if its something like what she has done, one thing to remember is do your research. Find a good manufacturer that believes in your product and you!
