Pop singer and reality tv star, Rozanda “Chilli” Thomas had a viewing party last night at Ludacris spot Straits. Her publicist Christal Nims said that Chilli wanted to have an intimate affair with close friends and wanted to keep it simple. We reviewed the show,Chilli Project and I must say ,I loved it!  Maybe I loved it even more because you can see me chatting away several times in the background in a raspberry colored dress ha!

The Chilli Project is a new reality  show that I would like to say is quite different than what you would normally see on Vh1. Chilli said she fought to keep african american people in a good light. The show was funny and her relationship coach, really brings the heat with her sassiness and bluntness.

I loved her slingback wedge shoes she was wearing and she said they were Guiseppe Zanoitti’s. Wow thats 3 times, I’ve mentioned their shoes on my blog in this last week lol. Chilli’s outfit was very cute.

There is also a some scenes with her ex beau Dallas Austin, plus her friend Floyd Mayweather. Floyd and Chilli have great chemistry on camera and the photo shoot scene (shot my Calvin Evans) makes you wonder if there is really a relationship brewing off set… hmm? Last night I was delighted to attend The Celebrity Chocolate Buffet hosted by radio personality FrankSki. He became a part time chef at Four Seasons Hotel at Park 75 for a day lol. Chef Robert Gerstenecker was also there to assist him for the evening.  I was allowed in the kitchen to see how FrankSki prepared his own signature chocolate delight, which was a Molton chocolate cake with spiced whipped cream and raspberry sauce and a lil sprinkle of powder sugar.

It looked and smelled so delicious.FrankSki was quoted as saying,” if things didn’t work out in radio,there was always the option of being a pastry chef” lol.

For all the chocolate lovers, this was the perfect place to come last night.FrankSki ipod was playing as people mingled and dined on all sorts of pastries. It was an intimate affair and Four Seasons had a buffet table super long full of chocolate inspired treats. I sampled several of them but kept going back for second and thirds at the fondue and fruit station lol. Whatever your heart desired they had a tasty chocolate treat just for you!

Alot of guests were invited out to attend this chocolate affair and I was delighted to stopped by. I’m trying to diet but I just couldn’t resist lol. There will be a series of these events held at Four Seasons in Atlanta and hosted by different celebrities from around town.

It was fun to get out and see friends and have great conversation. I met some new friends while there. I also enjoyed taking a Grand Marnier chocolate shot, boy that drink was crazy lol! Thank you to Marsha and Abigail from MSquared Pr for the personal invite, I had a great time!

I was invited to the 3rd Annual Doggies on the Catwalk a couple of days ago! I was so excited to see this show because I had heard so much about it. This event was to benefit Pets are Loving Support(PALS). My friend Vincent  Martinez (Urban Couture Founder/Director)puts together this event yearly. He did a Pinktastic job!

Grady High School students has a fashion department called, Urban Couture and they showed their latest creations on local celebrities and some of their pooches! Some of the students that participated were Kelsi Eccles,Lakisha Beauford,Jhari Ponder, Destini Rhone, and Taylor Alford and a host of others!

Celebs that participated in this fashion show were radio personality FrankSki and his dog Mena,Corinna Allen (a friend of mine from CBS Better Mornings) with doggy Osborne, Miss Sophia from V103 with dog Bailey. I also saw Suchita Vadlamani from Good Day Atlanta with Giselle and Holly Firfer who’s a tv personality. She was also the emcee for the evening.Her dog name was Barnsely, too cute! There were so many more that modeled in the show, I am just naming a few lol.

The dogs that walked the runway stole the show and the fashions were haute! I loved one ladies dress with all the gold glitter and her terrier had on the matching tutu,too fierce for words! This fashion show will air on Georgia Public Broadcasting tonight at 8pm ,check your local listings! Thanks to Vincent and his staff for the invite, I had a great time!

Last night I went to a very cool award show held at the Geisha House at Atlantic Station. Gillette and Rolling Out magazine came together to host an award show for style icons in the entertainment business and  local Barbers who make our men look handsome and well groomed. At the award show, Vivica Fox and Fonzworth Bentley hosted the affair.

Honorees who received awards for men of style were; Sean Garrett,Lance Gross,Will Packard,Bangaldesh,Kenny BurnsFrankSki,Big Boi,2 live Stews,Mark Hayes,Ryan Cameron,and Bernard Bronner.

I also got a chance to talk with the sexy Ms. Vivica Fox. She told me she was in a steamy new video with 5o cent that will debut today called,”Do you think about me”. She is also starring as Keke Palmer’s mom, Mrs. Jackson on their new hit show True Jackson on Nickelodeon. She also stars in a show on HBO called, Curb your enthusiasm. I told her I loved her shoes she said they were by a designer named,Nicholas Kirkwood.They were too hott!

I also bumped into Stephanie Mills! I’ve never met her and she was such a delight to talk to. She said she has a new album coming out next year and it’s a live greatest hits album. She is also launching a new studio. She also introduced me to her fiance, Johnny Taylor! She currently resides in Charlotte, North Carolina. I asked her what brought her to Atlanta, she said her fiance knows founder of Rolling Out magazine Munson Steed.

I loved how the men of style were dressed! Big Boi wore a pink cashmere polo sweater and khaki slacks, he said Tami, I wore this just for Talking with Tami lol. Ryan Cameron wore a custom made suit as well as Frank Ski and Mark Hayes. Sean Garrett looked hot with his leather gloves and silver suit. Lance Gross wore a hot look with a stylish hat that he said he picked up in new york by a place called,Rag n Bone.Lance told me to watch out for his new movie he stars in called, Our Family Wedding. He plays Forrest Whitakers son in a romantic comedy. It hits theatres March 12,2010!

Hey you guys thanks for stopping by today! I’ve been M.I.A. because we moved and boy was that a task! I almost fainted without internet for half a day lol.  Well not to fret though, I have a great post this morning! Let me tell you how honored I was to get an invite to the premier party of, I Can Do Bad All By Myself“! I’ve been doing my tv show for 4 years now and I’ve never got invited to anything with the Tyler Perry studios and they are right here in Atlanta,Ga. Maybe it was an oversight I’m not sure but I hawled ass out of here trying to get there on time lol.

Well, I got all cute  and headed out to Regal Cinemas Atlantic Station to see this movie that I heard so much about. “I can do bad all by myself” is another movie Tyler Perry has cranked out. This gentleman stays busy and did you guys know that he has a talk show on TBS called, The Tyler Perry Show? I had no clue, this guy is busy lol! Ok so back to the movie premier! I get there and the first person I see was Alphonso Ribeiro, I was like,” hey there is the guy from Silver Spoons”,for the old heads we know who he is. Im not sure what he is up to now,people were swarmed around him, so I didnt get a chance to talk with him. Other celeb sightings I saw were Eva and Lance(will get back to them)Kenny Lattimore,Ms.Sophia,Wanda Sykes,Tanya Ski,Bishop Eddie Long and his son,Young Starlets from Daddys Lil Girl, China Anne McClain,Lauryn Alisa McClain and Sierra Aylina McClain, those lil girls are too cute and so mannerable! Taraji P. Henson played April a selfish,alcoholic singer who cared nothing about her family. I know a girl just like that but I wont say any names here. In the movie Taraji got a chance to sing and she has a nice voice. Taraji and Mary J. Blige wore some very nice outfits too and loved Gladys Knight hats! Their shoes were fun to see too! Actor/Hotness Brian White who Ive interviewed at the premier of  Stomp The Yard and right here on Pink Spotlight played a bad guy…Yikes! I see Brian can do a mean dark side,great acting and nice butt shot woot! Mary J Blige,Gladys Knight,Tyler Perry(Madea),Hottie Adam Rodriguez,Hope Olaide Wilson all played great roles in the movie.  Marvin Winans had me crying when he started to sing omg. I never cry in movies but he had a powerful voice and I could feel the tears wellin up, so Im mad at him for making me cry,but wow he can sing very touching.

Dont expect to see Madea too much in this flick because she mainly did a cameo appearance. Madea probably had to go give somebody a beat down or something but the time she was in the movie she was funny.

I give the movie a B-. Im not a movie critic by no means but in my “personal” opinion it was a good story line with great characters and you could take your kids to see it. There is great life lessons to learn and everyone can get something out of it hopefully.

Ok now the scoop! The after party was held across the street at Strip restaurant( www.heretoserverestaurants.com). The party was jumpin and jammed packed. I asked Lance and Eva did they set a wedding date? Lance smiled and said,” yes we did”! Were getting married July 17th 2010, he said it going to be held in  L.A. I asked him what he was up to and he said he’s in a new movie coming out March 19th called, “Our Family Wedding”. The director Rick Famuyiwa made other movies such as, The Wood. Other actors to star in this movie are Forrest Whitaker,America Ferrera,Regina King,Charlie Murphy and more.
Shortly afterwards Eva walked over and hugged her boo and while looking at her up close, wow she is drop dead gorgeous! I said, hello there what have you been up to lately Ms.Eva? She smiled and said,” well Im playing Tyra on The Young And Restless”. I laughed and said,” wow thats my daughters name”. They are a great looking couple,congrats and I wish them well!

Then I ran into Kenny Lattimore! This handsome songbird was so pleasant to talk to! I said, hey where is Chante? He said,” well she is home with the kids and my son Kenny Jr, started school today, he is six years old”. My director Kristie and I looked at each other and said,Awh how sweet! He also has a step daughter named Sophia as well. He told me he has been traveling around the country for his non profit, to educate people and show awareness about kids in Africa. Later on in the evening I spoke to Frank Ski’s wife Tanya who had a walk on role. She said she won it at an auction after she bidded on a poster from Tyler Perry’s Diary of a Mad Black Woman! She said,” basically I paid for that role”,lol. Tanya played a waitress in the movie,go head girl, get your acting on! Radio personality from V-103 Ms.Sophia,  made an appearance in the move as well,he did a great job! I asked Comedian Wanda Smith, what she thought of Ms.Sophia’s role and she said, she was very proud of him,it was long over do”. The after party was really fun the bites and drinks were on point and we shut down the whole place,Taylor Made(Indakno),my director Kristie Godeau,Christal Nims(Enchanted Pr) and her Hottie/QDog  friend Marvin!
