My friend and fellow blogger Oh Nikka told me about a fashion week in Charleston, S.C. that starts tomorrow! Do you know that I knew nothing about their fashion week! Shame on me and I love fashion! I made some calls and now I will be headed there to check out some shows and more! This should be very interesting and I can’t wait to see all the clothes, people and ofcourse the runway shows! I’m not staying the whole week but I will try to absorb as much as I can while there! The weather is perfect for fashion too! Yay!!!

Ok, now on to the simply fab part! Here are the evening gowns that I almost fell outta my chair looking at! I couldn’t believe all the tulle and poof in one setting,whew! Just when I thought the fashions were over, more kept coming out! It was absolutely something to see you guys, I actually teared up because I was in shock at what one person can think to design, all this prettiness for us fashionistas? The fabrics and details were GORGEOUS!!! The dresses looked like they weighed a few pounds too! Betsey Johnson may have to move over now, Zac Posen is in town and on my radar lol! Upon arriving early for media check in, I was able to see the models for the 6th Annual Fine ARt & Fashion show with special guest designer Zac Posen, practice their cat walks down the runway! I get a kick out of this part because with all the models, everyones walks are quite different. While taking a few snapshots Zac Posen came out and chatted with me and I was too tickled! He is very charming and his clothing is something fierce! I told him that I blog about him a lot and he said, he appreciated that. The models were extremely tall! I figured out later why! The gowns at the end of the show were full of tulle and poof and for the dresses to look great on the runway, the models had to be able to pull the whole look off! The fashion director told the models that he didn’t want to see one girl pick their skirt or dress up either! A real professional model knows how to walk in a ball gown, he yelled out. The look for the girls in the show was hair pulled back in tight bun, three toned eyeshadow, pink lips and red nails. Check out these behind the scenes photos I shot! xoxo

This Sunday if you are in the Mall of Georgia area you should stop by Arete Fashion show! It will be a Fall Bridal and Prom event where you will see all sorts of fabulous gowns and dresses! I have worn Arete gowns for many years now to some of my hottest events. I’ve modeled them to host events, cover red carpets and more!
