I love actress Taraji’s nail polish that reminds me of that tiffany blue color.They are really promoting their new movie, Think Like A Man that hits theaters April 20th. I’m still full of excitement as I write this post about my experience this year with the 5th Annual Disney’s Dreamers Academy held at Disneyworld Resorts in Orlando,Florida. The first day, I was greeted by my chaperon Dennis as he then whisked me off to a media luncheon where we got to network,mingle and dine. After that we got a chance to see a parade with DDA(Disney Dreamers Academy) special parade at Magic Kingdom and also where we got a first glance at some of the Dreamers from around the country. Each Dreamer represented their state well! I was rooting for the Atlanta students lol! After that there was Deep Dive sessions that began. “Deep Dives” are where the students got to dive into areas that most interests them. BET Networks, Essence Mag, NABJ and Eyes & Ears were on board to teach the students. We then headed over to Hall of Presidents where the official welcome was conducted. Steve Harvey and other special guest welcomed all of us. Later on, I headed to dinner with fellow bloggers, Lorriane(Ask Wifey) and Lamar & Ronnie from Black and Married with Kids. It was a fun filled day! Enjoy the pics!

In a few weeks it will be time for me to head down Orlando,Fl for to the 5th Annual Dreamers Academy! I went last year and had a complete ball! I was there to see students from all over the country dream big with the Disney’s Dreamers Academy with Steve Harvey and Essence Magazine! Many celebrities were in attendance to speak to the kids on how they achieved their dreams and how they can too! It’s such an inspiration to hear them speak and even I learned a thing or too! Gabby is so sweet and I have had the pleasure of being around her a few times and interviewing her, she is the nicest and prettiest lady! She has a nice figure and I was telling that to someone on twitter the other day! Go guys love your photos and the vibrant color choices! At the end of every year I like to post some of the “Best Of ” from 2011. It’s fun to go down memory lane and look through my archives of all the events I covered, invited out to or simply just went to hang out. This year I was recognized in my community, awarded several times and more! It has been a crazy year, I must say! I learned to pin on Pinterest, grow my followers on twitter and use tumblr! I have met some fabulous people and some folks that I was not too happy to meet. I have gained some true friends and comment stalkers as well lol. I feel as though I have grown a lot with my ventures. I got a chance to travel to Jamaica! The very first time I had EVER been out of the country! I enjoy my job and meeting new people, it makes me really happy! It makes my job so worth wild! People still ask me today what do you do actually? It’s hard to say but I work in media, I’m a fashion and beauty editor of a few magazines,blogger,red carpet correspondent and I’m all things social media, how about that lol. I have seen me look at hot mess and really nice and in between! My weight has fluctuated between a 12 and 14, I see it in my pics lol.All in all i must say its been a learning experience and I wouldn’t change anything in the world.
