Chauncey Davis’s 2nd Annual Impact Awards & Reception

I went to a great event last night and I must say I mingled with some fabulous people! Chauncey Davis is a NFL player for the Atlanta Falcons. He has a non profit organization called, The Chauncey Davis Foundation and he held his 2nd annual impact awards and reception to benefit his charity.

The event was held at Arnold M.Blanks family office, which is a beautiful facility! I never been there and it’s gorg and I loved the courtyard! The emcee for the evening was WSB-Tv’s Jovita Moore. This years recipients were my friend Laura Seydel Turner for Woman of the Year, Devyne Stevens for Man of the Year, Verizon Wireless Corp of the Year and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta received the Community Impact Award . I saw Chris Tucker in the house, Chef Jason Ellis from Hell’s Kitchen, Ebony Steele from the Rickey Smiley show and Bishop Eddie Long that is sporting a new hairdo. The evening was full of great spirits with great music,great cocktails and yummy food!

I love to watch live auctions as it began. My friends over at Tara Jewelry located down the road from me, auctioned off a 8,000 diamond necklace. Chef Jason was auctioned off too for a private dinner and he sold for 750.00.Laura Seydel Turner was the winning bidder lol. I would like to thank Erik Burton & Jason Draper for the person personal invite, I had a blast!

Charles Grant luvs the kids!

NFL Player Charles Grant with kids

NFL Player, Charles Grant had a charity event the whole weekend in Atlanta,Ga. Friday nite, I got a chance to see what Charles does best! Play with the kids at ESPN Zone in Buckhead! He wanted to give back to the kids at KippWay Academy and KippSFA for their good behavior and academics! He was introduced by The Apprentice reality star, Marshawn Evans. Grant talked about how its not how you start off,its how you finish! That was a great statement. He told the kids that he had classmates that were honor roll students who are now on drugs,so with that said, the kids learned to do your best and come out a winner! Ha!

He brought out alot of his sexy NFL players and I was in heaven! Woot! I got to meet Rob Langer,Jim Basile, Defensive Tackler Hollis Thomas,Baltimore Raven Terrance Nelson,Carolina Panther Curtis Deloatch,George Foster who plays for my hometown Cleveland Browns,Randy McMichael who plays for the ST.Louis Rams,Marvin Mitchell,Leonard Pope and Atlantas own Verron Haynes!

There were more in attendance, but I couldnt get to everyone lol. They all came out to support Charles and his non profit for the kids! Charles had a Pool Party,Black Carpet and more.After the dinner and a speech, the kids got to play games for 3 hours and hang out with the players and get autographs. No Reggie Bush was not in the building but wish he was! Chris Tucker gives back!

I really like Chris Tucker and Im just not saying that because he likes my daughter lol. Every year we go to his annual Chris Tucker Foundation Christmas event. The event was held at the Boys&Girls Club in Atlanta. The organization always have plenty of toys,food and entertainment for the kiddies. This year they even had toys left over..wow! They had a mini talent show,dancers,comedian,and singers too. It was a nice atmosphere filled with the holiday spirit so much fun for the kids and parents! Its so nice to see celebs do great things in the community. My daughter Tyra always interviews him, and he remembers her & makes the big tv networks wait. Chris made an announcement yesterday to everyone that Tyra was his special lil reporter! She was beat red! Classic!
