At the end of every year I like to post some of the “Best Of ” from 2011. It’s fun to go down memory lane and look through my archives of all the events I covered, invited out to or simply just went to hang out. This year I was recognized in my community, awarded several times and more! It has been a crazy year, I must say! I learned to pin on Pinterest, grow my followers on twitter and use tumblr! I have met some fabulous people and some folks that I was not too happy to meet. I have gained some true friends and comment stalkers as well lol. I feel as though I have grown a lot with my ventures. I got a chance to travel to Jamaica! The very first time I had EVER been out of the country! I not only visited Jamaica once but twice in a month, they loved me lol.

I enjoy my job and meeting new people, it makes me really happy! It makes my job so worth wild! People still ask me today what do you do actually? It’s hard to say but I work in media, I’m a fashion and beauty editor of a few magazines,blogger,red carpet correspondent and I’m all things social media, how about that lol. I have seen me look at hot mess and really nice and in between! My weight has fluctuated between a 12 and 14, I see it in my pics lol.All in all i must say its been a learning experience and I wouldn’t change anything in the world. I hope that my life,family and friends stay safe going into the new year! I love you guys and thanks so much for reading and hanging in there with me from the beginning of my lil blog five years ago! Victoria’s Secret private viewing of the V-Day Collection
Eliana is an event/wedding planner in Atlanta. We met a few years ago and I love her blog. She gives the best events and weddings ever! She has been featured in numerous amounts of magazines for her very creative work. Oh and guess what? She is a lover of pink! She sent me a beautiful invitation to come out and celebrate with her as she gave a customer appreciation dinner and dance held at the Bradford Gallery in Buckhead.
When you walked into the space there were pink roses and candles leading up to the entrance of the venue which gave it a romantic feel. Elly signature colors are pink and blue and it was displayed throughout the entire space, Pinktastic! Violins were playing,waiters handed out champagne, servers gave you noshes, there was a bar area with Elly B signature cocktails and many attendants,newly married & couples to be filled the room. I loved the Halobooth with keepsake pictures that were printed out right on the spot!

Guest got to dine on food from Proof of the Pudding, Endive and try the Elly B Sweet Shop with desserts from Proof of the Pudding,Candy Cake Company and Couture Cakes! Proof of the Pudding presented us with Asian Salmon on Snow Pea Salad,Steak Diane over Garlic Potato Mash and Chicken and Pear Tournedo with Celery Root Puree,yum! Endive presented us with an Ultimate Stir Fry Station. After dinner we had entertainment from 2 belly dancers,that really got the crowd into going! Everything was simply pinkalicious! I would like to thank Eliana for inviting me out, it was a great experience and many more years of business to you!
I had a chance to go to a pinktabulous soiree the other day and I had a ball!Get Marriedis a Pinktastic wedding show that is filmed right here in Atlanta! I’m so proud of the producer Stacie Francombe for doing such a great show! The soiree was held at the very chic Opera in midtown Atlanta. As a fellow tv producer I love what she is doing! I got a chance to chat with Stacie at the event and she told me the show was all about planning the perfect wedding.I love attending weddings and all thats involved with them.

Any and everybody that was in the wedding business came out to support and network and it was such a great party! I even got a chance to take some goofy pics with my friend Alecia Lauren who is a great wedding photographer,her work is fab! The Magestic Photoboothwas too fun and that would be such a cute party favor at a wedding or event.
