My friend and Director Kristie was telling me about this new restaurant that was opening in Lilburn,Ga. I asked her what was the name of the place and she said,”Hungry Howie’s Pizza”. I was like hmm never heard of that before, I will have to check it out. Up north where Im from, we dont have Hungry Howies lol. Well I stopped in yesterday and my food senses started kicking in lol. You know your girl loves food and when I walked in it smelled soo yummy!

I was greated by two cuties at the register eager to take my order. It was the grand opening day and people had already started to pull up. Ive been trying to watch what I eat, but as you can see from previous posts,Ive been really going to alot of food places lately, this is not going to be good for me lol. I met O.J.Flowers who owns this fun looking pizza place with his wife Dana.They both worked for Indy Mac Bank and was let go last year. O.J. told me it was Jan 08 to be exact! They were both in the residential home construction loan department and was let go. He said it was a blessing in disguise.

We chatted for awhile about how working for corporate can be tricky now a days, but you just have to have another plan and just do it! He is right and his franchise is going to do well, because with his personality and eagerness, I think they will do just fine…take that corporate! The two entreprenuers plan on opening 10-15 chains within the next five years. He said he found out about it by stopping into a Hungry Howie’s pizza in Canton,Ohio and the rest was history. I ordered the Garlic Herb crust pepperoni pizza and a salad that was very good(didnt make it down the road,my daughter and I smashed it in the car lol). They have 8 different flavored pizza crusts which makes them different from other pizza shops. There store is open Sun-Thur 11-11 and Fri-Sat 11-12. They deliver to Lilburn,Norcross and Lawrenceville right now and you can get a large pizza for $3.99 for a limited time!
