At the end of every year I like to post some of the “Best Of ” from 2011. It’s fun to go down memory lane and look through my archives of all the events I covered, invited out to or simply just went to hang out. This year I was recognized in my community, awarded several times and more! It has been a crazy year, I must say! I learned to pin on Pinterest, grow my followers on twitter and use tumblr! I have met some fabulous people and some folks that I was not too happy to meet. I have gained some true friends and comment stalkers as well lol. I feel as though I have grown a lot with my ventures. I got a chance to travel to Jamaica! The very first time I had EVER been out of the country! I not only visited Jamaica once but twice in a month, they loved me lol.

I enjoy my job and meeting new people, it makes me really happy! It makes my job so worth wild! People still ask me today what do you do actually? It’s hard to say but I work in media, I’m a fashion and beauty editor of a few magazines,blogger,red carpet correspondent and I’m all things social media, how about that lol. I have seen me look at hot mess and really nice and in between! My weight has fluctuated between a 12 and 14, I see it in my pics lol.All in all i must say its been a learning experience and I wouldn’t change anything in the world. I hope that my life,family and friends stay safe going into the new year! I love you guys and thanks so much for reading and hanging in there with me from the beginning of my lil blog five years ago! Yesterday my family was invited out to Cymia Telleria’s signing party at Pink Pastry Parlor in Alpharetta,Ga! Cymia is a pop singer and actress that just inked a deal with Cash Money Records/Universal Republic. What better way of celebrating a great accomplishment other than throwing an elaborate affair mardi gras style! Cymia arrived all decked out from top to bottom in Betsey Johnson poofy teal blue dress from the Fall Collection with sparkly starburst heels to match.

Cymia’s family is originally from New Orleans and the theme of the party was gold,green and purple colors,party masks, beads, gumbo and sweet treats. Lots of family and friends stopped by to congratulate her. Celebrities in attendance were, Lisa Wu Hartwell and her sons Justin & Jordan, Toya, Memphitz and Reginae,singing group High Rise, Dancer Elly Pascoe,Key Swag 3000, and a host of others! It was a fun filled party and everyone had a wonderful time!

Cymia sang a few of her latest tunes while her V.I.P guest danced and sang along. I enjoyed watching the kids have dance offs and rap battles. Cash Money gifted Cymia with a huge teddy bear and jewelry from the Swarvoski store which was a bracelet and necklace. She was too tickled pink and thanked everyone for coming out! I can’t wait to see what this cute little pop diva shows the world! Thanks to Cymia,her family and Cash Money Records for the invite! xoxo
Over the weekend my family was invited to the best birthday extravaganza We’ve ever attended! Ms.Cymia Telleria celebrated her 11th birthday and it was star studded! When we arrived at a mansion called, Villa Serena located in Conyers,Ga,I knew we were in for pure entertainment. Cymia is a triple threat, she acts,sings and dance and the lil lady is so sweet! I first met her at the Bronner Bros show a few months back and we became BFF’s. She loves pink and sparkly and poof just like me, so I knew we were going to get along just fine!
Her mom Serena is a sweetie pie too and I know she was exhausted planning this party. When we arrived I was like this is going to be Pinktastic! When we walked in you signed Cymia’s guest book and signed her huge autograph board. There were vendors there like, Stinky Kids and Cranky Princess both I’ve had on my show before. We then had a meet and greet with all the other guests and I got to meet some of the performers. We had catered food that was awesome then the festivities began! When I tell you guys that the talent that was in the room was fierce, I really mean that! There were rappers,dancers,singers just the whole nine came out with their game faces on!
I think the youngest performer was 5yrs old and he was a hoot to watch. I loved the groups 3oo,2TooCute,Sunny, and ofcourse Cymia’s performance. She sang several of her songs off of her latest Cd and I didn’t know she liked punk rock music, too fun! The song I liked a lot was Follow Me, that was a great song! My kids really enjoyed themselves.
My family had a great time and we want to thank everyone over at Cymia’s World Enterprises for a Pinktabulous good time! I want to know what she is going to do for her Sweet 16? I cant wait to see! Good luck to you pretty girl!
