The other day I spent the afternoon having lunch with Councilman Kwanza Hall. We met a few years ago and we’ve been buddies every since. We met for lunch at Parish a restaurant that I just featured but its in his 4th ward district so we had to support a local businesses in his area.
We looked over the menu and I decided I wanted the pulled pork sandwich and a salad. Councilman Hall opted out for the chicken stew. With his busy schedule and having meetings all day, I was glad he got a chance to sit down with me for a quick interview for Rolling Out Magazine.
Pulled pork sandwich, yes it was that good, omg!

We chatted about poliltics, his families history in politics, being a elected official, his plans for the city and more. I learned so much about Kwanza in the little time we had. He gave off a warm spirit and you can tell he is really compassionate about people and trying to make a difference.
He then turned the tables on me and asked me about my life. I told him that my life was not as exciting as his but that I did ok lol. He then grabbed my camera and starting shooting me I was dying laughing. It was a fun time for sure. Our food came out and it was really tasty but again I told yah that Parish was the bomb in a previous post.
