2nd Annual Chozen Awards

The other day I hosted the 2nd Annual Chozen Awards! I had a blast talking to all the nominees and honorees for the 2010 Award ceremony! I hosted from the gold carpet and it was live streaming from Clear Channel. This award show had a special place in my heart because I was voted Newsmaker of the Year in 2008. I was so happy when I won! Alot of the nominees I knew like, Layla K who won Stylista of the year and Derek Blanks who won Artist of the year.

The event was put on by Liberty and her staff. They did a great job and I loved the location which was at the Artist Trifecta Gallery. The event was also hosted by Grace Lee,E. Vincent Martinez, and DeWayne Rogers. The Women history month honorees were singer Monica, Margarita Ayes, Nina Brown, Marynell Meadors, Dr.Catherine Ross and Dee Dee Cocheta. The night was filled with love and I want to congratulate all the winners, you guys rock. Check out the pics below

Chozen Awards interview

I was asked by the producers over at the Chozen Awards to do a lil interview. My schedule was so mad crazy but I was finally able to get it done lol. They asked me just to talk a lil bit about my life and I was happy to share. I received an award in 2008 for “Newsmaker of the Year” and I was so honored.
