Pinktastic Saturday: Macy’s Pink Pig Preview Party

I was too excited to be invited out to the Macy’s Pink Pig Preview Party last Friday afternoon. I had heard about this annual children’s place that comes out every holiday season but I was not expecting to have soo much fun! I got a chance to experience the preview party with other Pinktastic VIP guest and we all had a blast! Every year a portion of the proceeds raised from all the Pink Pig ticket sales benefit Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. I got a chance to chat with the handsome Hyde Talbot,a patient from Children’s Heathcare of Atlanta. He was VIP(Very Important Patient) all the way and the first to ride the monorail! He was a total hoot as he ate his pink cotton candy and posed for a picture for me.

I got a glance of Priscilla the Pig too all dolled up in a fancy 50′s inspired outfit. She was working hard taking pictures with all her fans! I was able to get a quick picture with her, loved her pearl necklace! They had rides, gift shop, face painting, Pinkalicious candy station, music and more! I want to thank Macy’s for the invite out and the Pinkerrific goody bag! This was definitely a great Pinktastic Saturday, enjoy the pictures! xoxo

The Governor’s 9th Annual Easter Egg Hunt

I love Easter its so festive and colorful! My friend Ben Evans attended the Governors 9th Annual Easter Egg Hunt at the mansion and it looks like they had a hoppin good time! Georgia’s First Lady Sandra Deal hosted the event and it benefited Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Guests were asked to bring a stuffed toy that will go to patients in the hospital, wow what a great cause! The activities included a cupcake decorating station, face painting, moonwalk,easter egg decorating station and storybook station. Looks like it was a lot of fun. My kids are tweens now they have outgrown this but I sure miss the days of dressing them up in their easter outfits! Enjoy the Pics shot by PhotoImagesByBen

The Bieber has a heart

This afternoon I attended a press conference at Phillips Arena to hear Justin Bieber and local radio personality Bert (from Q100) talk about stuffing a school bus for a great cause. In the conference Justin talked about people donating new and unused toys outside his concert this evening only. For each toy donated, Georgia’s Own Credit Union will match the donation. All the toys will be given to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Their goal is to give every child admitted in to the hospital a toy for Christmas.

It was my first time meeting the Bieber and he was very cool! He said he was very happy to be involved and glad he can help make a change. I found out he was from Canada and moved to Atlanta when he turned 14. He said in the conference that he looked up to Michael Jackson and Usher because both of them were big influencers and givers.

Outside of Phillips Arena they were setting up for the concert and fans were starting to line up. Inside the bus were rows and rows of toys that were donated and it was about 1/3 full. Justin said he hopes they fill it up and if they run out of room, they will get another bus lol. My daughter almost passed out because I went to see The Bieber but I assured her I would get some great shots for her. He is very handsome in person! Glad to see this young man is starting early showing others that its good to give back! I got to chance to introduce myself to him and he was a gem! Thanks to 360 media for the invite!
