This is the prettiest girl I’ve ever laid eyes on, skee ball head and all lol. Cassie sure does know how to take a mean photo and the styling of this shoot set my soul on fire! She wears black embellished dress, red fur jacket, frilly white dress and leather jacket. The makeup and hair is gorg! I see why Puffy likes her so much, just saying! Spokes beauties Cassie, Selita Ebanks and Solonge attend the launch party of Carol’s Daughter new line Monoi Repairing Collection at Sephora in New York City yesterday. The new line includes shampoo,conditioner and mask that strengthens and repairs the hair follicIes and its suppose to reduce breakage. I wish I could rock a fro like Solonge she wears that natural look very well. I am also loving Selita’s dress! I’m trying to find out who made it because that is darling. Her sky high Christian Louboutin pumps are killer too! Cassie buzz cut is growing on me, she is glowing. Congrats to Lisa Price on her new line. I have to contact them to send me some samples to review.

I have been somewhat following the whole story of Carol’s Daughter new spokesmodels. Lisa Price chose model Selita Ebanks, singer Cassie and Solange. I would also like to know what she was thinking when she chose the ladies but I guess Lisa has a bigger plan. When you have a great company and you want it to be represented well, I’m sure we all have great thoughts in the process of making our brand great and who would rep it well. Being a brown skin girl, I would have liked to see a young lady with a darker shade as well. Maybe she chose the ladies for their hair texture and not their skin tone, I have no clue but again she knows what’s she’s doing I’m sure. In the video the ladies sit around and chat about their hair stories.There will be plenty of Carol’s Daughter video segments to come as well. I like the video and the ladies talking about natural hair,relaxers and their different textures. Enjoy the video.

There was a great hair party this past weekend at Carol’s Daughter at Lenox mall. Lots of women with natural to curly hair came to see the latest Hair Milk Collection. Hair Milk keeps curls soft,bouncy yet completely manageable.

At Carol’s Daughter lots of ladies got curl makeovers, professional photo shoots, and a chance to become the Lucky Curl of Atlanta! The YBF was there on the scene, live blogging away. Check out the pics from the fab event and shout out to Carol’s Daughter for the invite, I had a Pinktastic time.

I was asked by Carol’s Daughter to conduct a product review for their new Rosemary Mint Shampoo & Conditioner. I love their products and they have a fab store located in Lenox Mall in Atlanta. I’m not a hair stylist and dont want to be one but I can do my daughter’s hair fairly good.

Dootie all lathered up lol

My daughter Dootie asked me to try to do her hair because she had a field trip today with her choir. I said hmm ok, I have this new product that I need to try out anyway, so thanks for being my guinea pig lol. I first washed her hair with the Rosemary mint shampoo and my daughter said it felt tingly. She also liked the smell of it. It took me about three times to get it lathered up but after the 3rd time it had a nice lather to it.

Conditioner in tact

I then combed my daughters hair out and added the conditioner. My daughter does not have a relaxer so I was wondering how it was going to turn out yikes lol. With the help of the conditioner it became manageable and soft. I combed through the conditioner and rinsed.

After that I blow dried her hair and flat ironed it. I did the best I could do but I’m not a pro at hairdo’s. She was pleased and you could still smell the scent from the rosemary minty smell. I give Carol’s Daughter new Rosemary Mint Shampoo & Conditioner a thumbs up! If I did have to say one thing negative, that would be that it did leave a slight film on her hair. I thought that I followed the directions fairly well, but with the help of a spray shine, her hair came back to life lol.
