Like a crackish person, I went back downtown to see what I could see at the second day of the Bronner Bros hair show. Well today was a totally different crowd …what happened? I left feeling like ok, well maybe I should have stayed home.It just didnt give off that same energy and everyone was very quiet. I wanted drama and excitement like yesterday but didnt get it. Even the hairstyles people were sporting today was just okay and alot more reserved… hmm. I did see some unusual hairstyles sprinkled here and there.

All the vendors were there again slashing prices because they probably didnt want to lugg all those products home lol. They had another hair battle and the commentator name was Glynn Jackson. He was funny and told me he was having an event in D.C. soon.Its the 17th annual Golden Scissors Awards a star studded salute to Micheal Jackson. Its Dec 6th at the Washington,D.C. Convention Center. Bronner Bros V.I.P. Lounge

Cutie pies Cymia & Reginae at the Bronner Bros V.I.P. Lounge

Im sure you want to know what celebrity sightings I saw at the Bronner Brothers hair show! The V.I.P. lounge was put together by event planner Jamahl King who owns S.T.E.P.S Event Planning. He did a great job with the area and everything was so warm and inviting. There was great food, beverages,gifts for guests,massage area, and step and repeat for photo opts.

Celebs that I saw stroll thru the lounge were Al B Sure,Young Joc,Drumma Boy,Toya and Tiny, OMG Girls, Sheree Whitfield, and a girl group, that I cant remember( I will find out).

Cymia is a new artist that has popped on the scene and she is a triple threat! She was the cutest lil thing! She has a tv show she is shooting the pilot for,she has been in commercials, and some movies. Im not mad at her,and plus she told me she just launched her very own a shoe line! Her interview will be coming up on Pink Spotlight right here!

I chatted it up with Toya and her daughter Reginae, she was so shy and sweet! She said,”my group members are on their way, and we are going to perform”! She says she sings and raps! I heard her sing a song while doing an interview with Cymia and she sounds really good! Awh to be young again!

I bumped into Sheree Whitfield downstairs signing autographs and she was selling t-shirts that read,”Who Gone Check me Boo“? Hilarious and her sidekick and hairstylist Lawrence was there with a bad top on,too fun!

Young Joc strolled thru with his entourage and he has a new free download cd coming out! He looked very handsome! Jamie Foster from sister 2 sister magazine was chatting with everyone and she has a booth at American FamilyInsurance. Tiny and Toya were getting interviewed at Jamie’s booth and taking pics for the audience,they drew a huge crowd. Everyone wanted to snap a pic of those two! I loved Tiny’s shoes and purse.

Tiny was carrying a Louis Vouitton bag that had an army fatigue kinda print with shoes that resembled the bag, loved that! I also liked Sheree’s huge coral blue Coco Chanel purse, it was really nice! Bronner Bros Hair Show pt. 1

I’m going to write this post just like I saw it, so bare with me and keep up lol. I absolutely love Atlanta! You just never know what your going to see here. I dont care if its 105 degrees outside,you just may see somebody in a full length mink coat, or a guy with a baton and a pink tutu…snaps!

Well Bronner Bros came back this year and they brought out every Rainbow Brite character you could ever imagine to their hair show! Im not saying that in a bad way,im talking about characters that were fierce,fly,died,fried,glued,quickweaved,sprayed and layed to the motherf*ckin side!

When we got the the show,my daughter became very overwhelmed quickly because she just didnt know what to expect. It was her first time…po baby!Ive been in the beauty industry well over 15yrs. I owned a nail salon in Cleveland many moons ago, and I was doing my thing with the nail art back in the day. I entered many nail competitions and I remember the more drama you created or attention you drew to yourself, the better! Add a lil pink fairy dust and an attitude and you were sure to win, ha! I have plenty of trophies to prove it!

Fun and Entertainment is exactly what the Bronner Bros brought to the Georgia World Congress Center today! Gazillions of people came out,if you missed it today,get your booty down there tomorrow! It was pure excitement in the air! Every hairstylist,barber,nail tech,manufacturer,salon owner,product specialist,shampoo assistant,masseuse,quick weave specialist,hell the whole beauty industry was there, plus!

Walking down the isles at the show I saw, flea market finds,antiques,Fucci bags,glitter and sparkle for your hair,shoes,guy in gator suit worth $30,000…why? lol, rainbow colored hair of your choice, just about everything you would want to buy or not lol.

On the other hand,I also saw some great healthy hair stations,pinktastic hair products,motions,clairol,f.h.i heat,Derek J doing platform work,platform stylists ,PZI jeans with some huge afro girl models, and I did see some classy and stylish hair do’s as well.

It was a mesh of young people hairstyles and my kinda hair lol. I loved every minute of it! Bronner Bros had something for everyone and the demos and educational courses that were offered this year were great! I also loved the hair competition portion where it was down between a 15yr old girl that had red feathers in her hair andsome type of short do and a guy rockin a gold n fire engine red bob. The girl won but he gave her a run for her money! Im going to need that guy to show me how to work the runway one day,he worked that stage okay! I also loved the commentator he was a hoot saying, “Should she stay or should she go”?Then they played,” To the Left” by Beyonce, It was the funniest thing! The hairstylist who did the 15 yr old model’s hair won $1,000. I could buy soo much Betsey Johnson with that money! Maybe I will enter next year! Hmm?

In the V.I.P. area I got to mingle and chat with Jamie Foster of Sister 2 Sister magazine,Tiny and Toya,Sheree from the Housewives,Young Joc,Drumma Boy, Al B Sure, OMG Girls, and cutie pie Cymia!
