I hardly ever write about menswear or their accessories but I found it interesting that this Spring, saddle shoes are all the craze for men.I was previously at a Gucci store event and I saw several men wearing them in colorful shades. My friend and restaurant owner Justin wore these shoes in the first picture. I then headed over to Neiman Marcus about a week ago and there was men also wearing the trendy style.One of my makeup & hairstylist Scoobie West always has on nice footwear! He wore these pink saddle shoes below. I love the shoes and you sure do have to have a lot of swag about yourself to pull the look off! I can’t get Mr.Reed in a pink pair of saddle shoes, so I’m not going to even bother but I do like the look! Check out this video where Kevin Harter from Bloomingdales talks about the shoes and more! What a great time I had viewing fashion designer Wes Gordon’s capsule collection at Bloomingdales on Saturday, March 17th! As I headed up to the 2nd floor of Bloomies, I saw lots of fashionable people browsing the pop up station of Gordon’s new Spring line. Wes Gordon was not a familiar name to me. I came home later to do some research and found out that he had worked for Tom Ford and Oscar De La Renta! At the event,Wes was on hand to show people how to mix up his modern classic looks with his line with Jones New York. While there,once I introduced myself to him, he informed me that he made socialite Su Longman’s custom snakeskin suit that I featured on my site a few days ago at the Zac Posen show(click here). He said he was on my blog, looking at the photos! What a coincidence huh?  He is also a native of Atlanta,Georgia as well! The line is an affordable with prices starting at $100 to $500. I enjoyed the collection that was very sophisticated with timeless pieces that you could wear again and again.  My favorites were the striped dress,blouses and that navy trench coat! The other night I sashayed over to another Hello Stiletto party hosted by Co-Founder Amanda Viciana and Bloomingdales. Hello Stiletto is a shoe club for us shoenistas that love a great heel. The events are monthly at different locations and this month it was at Bloomingdales at Lenox Mall in Buckhead. Do you guys know I’ve never shopped there a day in my life? I felt bad that I never been in the store, I have no clue why. Everything in the store was lovely and they carry some great looking shoes!

When my friend McKenzie(fellow Beauty/Fashion Editor at Rolling Out Magazine) and I walked into the store it was some great tunes being played by Rare Form Dj Crew. The Hello Stiletto party was held in the shoe department and ofcourse other ladies was browsing all the latest fashions. I loved the Bagley Mischka line and I didn’t know Ivanka Trump had shoes as well, who knew! After noshing on catered bites and cosmopolitans there was a shoe off! I entered just kidding around when little do you know, I won! I was cracking up laughing because I really was just kidding around but everyone liked my pink heels from Betsey Johnson. I won a gift card from Bloomingdales. I would like to thank Bloomingdales for picking me and to Amanda for having this fabulous event! Check out some of the fab pics and all the cute shoes.

Here we go again! Another women doing great things! Cookie Johnson launched her new clothing line over the weekend right here in Atlanta,Ga! Cookie was at Nordstroms at Phipps Plaza signing autographs and jeans for women. All shapes and sizes came out  to try on and buy her CJ jeans!

I like the jeans but didnt have time to try a pair on because it was so much going on lol. I will go back soon to let you know what I thought of them. Tonya ski bought two pair! She liked the Boyfriend jeans and the skinny Jeans. She said she loves to support women in business! Plus she is a good friend of hers.

Lots of people came out to show support like Dwight Eubanks,Actor from the Tyler Perry Movie, “Why did I get married”( Jill’s love interest),Roger Bobb and daughter Renee,basketball players and more!  also saw my good friend Renee Davis who was modeling some denims! I also loved some of the names of her jeans:

The Jeans ranged from 141.00 and up. I wish Cookie lots of luck with her new clothing venture she was very sweet and her daughter Elisa was working that table!
