Laura has developed an innovative new oil-free foundation that gives skin the ultimate coverage, comfort and wear for a flawless complexion. I tried this foundation on my face. It was a tad lighter than my skin complexion that is why you don’t see a picture of me lol. My face is oily in the middle of my forehead but dry everywhere else.I thought this oil-free foundation would be good for my t-zone area. The foundation went on very smooth and it didn’t feel sticky or oily. For some of you, maybe this particular brand will look nice on your skin tone but I will have to keep searching. It just didn’t match up with my skin tone at all. I’ve been told I’m like two or three different shades lol. I went to a Sephora store that carries Laura Mercier and they showed me a few darker foundations but they also didn’t blend well with my skin tone. I love Laura’s beauty products but the foundation just wasn’t right for me. Here is more info below.

What a blast my daughter and I had trying out the EZ Curler! It’s a new hair styling tool that curls your hair without you having to twist your wrist at all! There is no movements required, how cool is that! All you do is section your hair through the opening,hold down the direction switch and EZ Curler does the rest! My daughter did a couple of strands of my hair and I did her hair as well! We both loved it and you know I really did because its pink in color but it’s also sold in purple and black! It’s very lightweight and it has a cute stand that comes along with it! My daughter and I had bouncy and wavy curls and I loved the movement of my hair! DIY – 5 SIMPLE STEPS TO GET HOLLYWOOD HAIR AT HOME:

1)    Section hair and slide it through the plates of the curler, holding hair by the tips.

2)    Press the R or L button to rotate the curler in the desired direction you want the curl to be in (toward or away from the face).

3)    Release hair, and continue rotation up desired length of hair you want curled.

4)    After a few seconds, hold the button in the reverse direction that was used to curl up and let your hair fall out and into the curl.

5)    Repeat on all other sections of hair until desired style is achieved.

What fun I had going down to the Annual Bronner Brothers show this weekend to check out the latest hairstyles,fashions and beauty trends! It’s always fun to see the shows, hair battles and celebs walking around too! This time around I got to stop by some great booths like One, who has re-invented the curling iron! If you walk away from your curling iron now it lowers the temperature automatically, plus they have a new curling rod. If you are looking for that beachy wavy look for your tresses, this is the curling iron for you! Hicks Edges is a fab gel by a company called, Total Transformations.Creator Ruth has a styling gel that makes the hair line smooth as butter! I also tried out new glitter lipsticks and played with fully decorated nail tips all you need is a bit of acrylic or gel. I saw many rainbow colored hairstyles and fantasy hairdos that made me look twice, chile it was soo much fun! Their was live demos that showed you how to maintain natural hair, braids, locks and more! I always wonder on Monday mornings will most of these bold divas and duvets wear their hair like that at the office? Maybe some of them work in salons, so it’s no big deal lol. Essie was the official polish used at New York Fashions Week for designer Tory Burch. The look of the nails were very soft and natural to compliment the romantic feel of the floral collection. Mademoiselle was the Essie shade the manicurist used on the models.It’s their number one best seller! This is one of my favorite colors too!  My number 2 favorite shade is Ballet Slippers…Pinktastic! I attended an event a few weekends ago and I got a cute little goody bag on my way out. I didn’t think much of it, till one day I needed some hand lotion and remembered that I had some new products to sample inside that bag. I remember seeing a tube of shea butter from Farmhouse Fresh that said, Whoppie Cream Shea Butter. It’s a pink tube, so it caught my attention right away.
