I was invited out to Marlo Hampton gorg home back in December. I was excited to see her place because I knew she was going to have great home design! Sure enough as I entered the four story townhome, I was very impressed with the layout. A few years ago,I lived in a townhome too that was featured on HGTV and designed by Vern Yip but it didn’t have anything on how Michael Boyd designed Marlo’s pad! Check out these gorg pics I shot of her place.You can tell every piece, design,vase,frame was very carefully thought out. I couldn’t take any photos of her bedroom and walk in closet but trust me, it was EVERYTHING girly and sparkly…I was swooning! Enjoy! xoxo

The other day I posted photos of singer Melanie Fiona where I asked you guys what was your fav picture for the cover of this weeks Rolling Out. I found out that Melanie is wearing a custom made outfit by fashion designer Sergio Hudson! ( photos were shot by Dewayne Rogers). I was so happy to hear that! He has designed a couple of outfits for me and I even went to his fashion show once in South Carolina where he is from(click here)! I was introduced to him by my girlfriend Lisa Wu and he is bad to the bone! Take a look at his high fashion outfit that Melanie models for her Rolling Out cover. I was looking through my archives and spotted a few pics I took of newest cast member of Atlanta Housewives Marlo Hamtpon at a charity event about a year ago. Steve Harvey and his wife Marjorie hosted a fashion show benefit at Neiman Marcus and I was invited out to cover it(click here). I instantly turned all eyes on this statuesque beauty and loved her outfit! I called Marlo last night and starting laughing saying chile, I found a picture of you even before the green and black Gucci outfit! I actually have to find some more pictures I snapped of her because she has always been at a lot of fashion events that I attended. Now that I know who she is lol. She was always very stylish every time I saw her out. Here she is wearing Oscar De La Renta from the Spring 2009 collection paired with Jimmy Choo Vivid Crystal-Embellished Suede Sandals at the gala. I squealed with pure excitement when newest cast member Marlo Hampton called me the other day. She said, “girl what are you doing on such and such day? I said, “nothing much, what’s going on?” She said, “I want you to come to my lil get together at my home. I’m having a private viewing party of my debut on the Atlanta Housewives and I wanted to show you some love. You always have nice things to say about me, I appreciate that!” I almost fainted and instantly ran to the closet to find something to wear lol. A few days later, a beautiful invite came in my inbox, so classy of her.

I pulled up to Marlo’s home greeted by poinsettias going up the walkway. When I entered her home it was beautifully decorated.I saw gorgeous Christmas trees decorated in two rooms, I was in the holiday spirit for sure. I was taken back and quickly remembered she told me she had her place re-designed by interior designer Michele Boyd who was also the Co-Host. Her bachelorette pad was decked out like no other! Filled with colors of light blues and browns and sparkly chandeliers and rhinestones in every room. I loved her huge kitchen. A pretty young lady yelled up the stairs that I had arrived. I heard Marlo say, “tell Tami to come up here”. I leaped up the two flights of stairs and into her HUGE bedroom,then to her grand bathroom where she had a glam squad working hard on her. She had on a black silk robe and was getting her hair curled and makeup applied by celebrity makeup artist LaTasha Wright.

She said, “hey girl I know you are going to fall out, gone back there and take a look in my closet!” I acted like I was clinching pearls and started to walk slowly into this gi-normous space. It was Marlo’s closet filled with EVERYTHING from Chanel, Valentino,Gucci,Prada and more! I had to take a seat on the floor and gather myself, I literally couldn’t breathe! I yelled out, “oh lawd, somebody come get me!!!!!” Her and her friends laughed at me but being a LOVER of fashion, you guys have NO idea how overwhelming it was to see such prettiness up close and personal! It was rows and rows of shoes strategically lined up by colors and styles. I counted well over 600 pairs of Christian Louboutin shoes, most fully encrusted with swarovski crystals.She asked me what size shoes I wore and that I could try on some and play in them. I couldn’t wear her shoes, I was drowning in them lol.

Then there was the handbags! She had them placed on these little pedastals by color and size. There was skins,leather,silk and more. I think I counted over 300 Chanel bags, purses,totes,clutches and so on.I felt like I was in a Chanel store looking at the displays of new purses lol. She had over 30 couture gowns straight off the runway on these pretty black velvet hangers hanging up for viewing. Very princess like!

In the middle of the room was a granite table and drawers full of accessories. I played in rows and rows of Chanel bracelets, diamond rings, gucci necklaces,earrings etc. I felt like a little girl playing in a big toy box of fashion! I said to her assistant, isn’t she nervous letting people in her home with all these goodies laying out? He said, we aren’t worried, look up. She has well over 40 security cameras in her home. He shut my lips up right away!

I went up to the upper level where she has another space for company to stay over that was decorated in Hermes. Two suede sleigh beds were in that space in colors of tan with orange accents.In the basement,it was decorated in a retro style with pops of bright colors and mixed fabrics and chairs. Her photographer made a mural of Marlo with tiny pictures of her in the art piece. It was soo cool to see. Even the garage where she has two fly rides was decorated lol.

I remember hearing about her clothing being rented or borrowed and that she returns things or something like that. I beg to differ! All those snapshots of her dresses and outfits I took was hanging right in her closet, NOTHING was returned ha! The Versace zebra print dress, Chanel, Gucci dresses,Tom Ford suit, was all hanging pretty! People I swear, haters!

The guests started to arrive and the champagne started flowing.Did I mention that the staff from the Chanel store was in attendance? Chile I can’t!  A chef prepared the bites and there was a three tier red velvet cake ready to be sliced. We sipped on Marlotinis that were too tasty! The show started and we all laughed and cracked up at different scenes. It was a very lovely party and I am so blessed to have people think of me so highly to attend their private affairs. I DON’T care what anyone says about my girl Marlo, I love her and she deserves all that she has and more! Thanks Marlo for the personal invite, I had a grand time!  Enjoy the pics! xoxo

I’m a little late posting about The Real Housewives of Atlanta recap because I was doing a bit of traveling to Los Angeles. I’m settled into my hotel room, so now I can do my recap of the show. I was actually at the newest cast member Marlo Hampton’s home at her viewing party on Sunday,so it was very hard to hear with everyone cheering for her. I had to go home and re-watch it again to get the full essence of the show. Let’s get started!

The show starts with Phaedra bringing Kandi a “I’m so sorry” homemade cake to make a mends for the hiccup at the birthday party with Redickulous(the face only a mother could love). I loved the monogrammed cake dish. #carryon

Kandi and her mom have a pow wow and try to squash the tension about the birthday party mishap. #movingon

Kim Zolciak was at her doctors appointment getting ready for the arrival of her baby boy. She wants plenty of “drugs” for when the time comes! Her and Brielle chatted about her being insecure when the bundle of joy gets here.I was knocked out during both of my kids deliveries, don’t ask me what happned. I woke up and saw wet lil baby chickens both times lol. #sipstea

Cynthia Bailey struggled to host a fashion show at Botanical Gardens in Atlanta. I was at this event(click here). I don’t remember her fumbling over so many names when I was standing there. She looked amazeballs and thats all that mattered to me. This is when I spotted Charles Grant and Marlo Hampton walk in. I immediately got up and got my camera out and started shooting her. I knew she had to be of some importance because 1.She was Gucci down from head to toe! 2.She was mic’d and I noticed that right away! I was the first to blog about her(click here). The Gucci outfit picture I shot, went all over the internet! I just didn’t say anything about her being the newest cast member! You read it here first folks! #Pow!

Later,Cynthia meets up with her mom and sister Malorie at the Bailey Agency where they discuss Peter and a bad loan of 40 g’s. Lawd, he’s starting to bother me so much. Malorie is not feeling Peter and doesn’t want her sister to go broke to support her man and mom is all for her supporting him. My feelings on this are mixed. I say don’t discuss personal business if you don’t want to be judged! #straddlingfence

SheBySheree has family time with her kids at the park when Bob Whitfield(her baby daddy) appears out of no where. They discuss child support for the umptenth time and he thinks its a joke! Sheree get yo money, I feel you! Men have NO clue how expensive it is to raise kids. He had the audacity to tell her she was of sound mind and body! I can’t! She gave him a nice splash of Basketball Wives Miami style! #whomad

Later down on Crenshaw(BarOne) most of the housewives meet up there to get a sneak preview of Peters new venture. NeNe was suppose to host the event but was late as heck getting there. Cynthia ponders while all the other housewives try to figure out why Nene is so late. Hell all of them can’t talk! Every show SOMEBODY is either late or don’t show up at all, so what? Marlo is there with her date Charles Grant who had me almost fall out the bed when he said, “Yeah, we went out on one date, she was too into herself, it was a done dollar”. Where is he from? I had never heard that line before, I spit out my pepsi when he said that, hell nawl!

Peter unveils an afrocentric portrait of Cynthia done by photographer Derek Blanks. It was gorg and she seemed to really like it. I was invited out to this but didn’t feel like doing the drive because I don’t live in Atlanta lol. NeNe finally shows up doing a mean strut in the door giving everyone shade and a major side eye at the party. She greets Cynthia & Peter and says that she had a wardrobe malfunction but nobody is buying it. Most of the girls think it’s because Charles is there with Marlo and she may feel a certain way about it.So there you have it folks!
