I love my family but then it comes a time when you want to hang out with the girlies! I love having girl time and enjoying my friends as we laugh,have some drinks and talk about whatever our hearts desire. There is nothing like having great crazy friends around! It’s fun to get together and share ideas,recipes, men stories (good or bad) and more! These pics remind me of all those fab times with my special girlies! Yesterday Pia and I traveled back down to the Bronner Brothers hair show again. It was more packed than the day before omg! Everybody and their friends and neighbors were out in full force! The day before was calm compared to yesterday! Glenn Jackson was doing a hair battle again and this time the models could walk! I didnt stay to see the whole competition but from a glimpse on the tv monitors it was great times over there.

I saw a huge crowd gathered around Keisha Cole’s mom getting her weave done. I was blank starring and wondering what all the fuss was about lol. Then I saw Chance from Real Chance of Love or whatever that reality show was called, that I never watched. His hair was gorg but the attitude was terrible(too Hollywood,sit down)!

Later on we were invited out to the Design Essentials Anniversary party held at the Twelve Hotel at Atlantic Station. We had a great time and all the parties were fab! Check out the pics and I would like to thank April Love and Jamal King for the invite!
Pennae Lewis the birthday princess
Last night my dear friend Celebrity Hairstylist Pennae(who I love dearly) had a great birthday partee. It was held at her beauty salon Salon Pennae. The party was hosted by reality star/hairstylist,Derek J, Sharlinda & Sabrina and April Love. When we arrived the party was just getting started and Pennae loves purple, so there were purple and brown balloons everywhere. The cake was fab and the atmosphere was grand!

This birthday party was very special to Pennae because a few months back, she had suffered a stroke and a lot of people thought she wasn’t going to recover. The theme of her party was, Still Standing, which is singer’s Monica new album title. Penna told me that a lot of people counted her out but God has the last say so. She has fully recovered from her stroke and she is  staying thankful that it wasn’t worse.

The birthday girl had a lot of people come out to show love and celebrate her special day. The food was catered by GFood4U and Six Star Catering. She had dancers, music,food, cocktails and great guests! Shirley Strawberry(from the Steve Harvey show) was in attendance,looking pinkalicious, Gospel artist Fred Hammond and Derek J came in his legendary stiletto heels.
