At this time of year,I’m bombarded with great invites to some fab holiday parties! I just had to stop by my fav couples Christmas party and that would be Patti & Eric Davis! Patti is a blogger buddy and friend and her blog is Anatomy of a Dinner Party. Yes so this party was sure to be a blast since she loves a hosting great soirees!

We arrived to the party and you could hear the music thumping in the streets! We walked in and silver tinsel and balloons were scattered throughout the house! This was sure to be a great party for sure! The bar was set up with drinks, a few feet further was the food station with great bites and in the back was the make shift photo booth, fun stuff!

I met the most wonderful people at the party and ran into Top Design designer, Kerry Howard, News Anchor Suchita Vadlamani, and a host of other fab bloggers and new friends. I also met Richard a new friend who’s a fashion photographer and stylist, he kept us in stitches all night, he is truly funny! We plan on cross promoting each other real soon, so check back for that.

O.P.I. Nail Party

You guys know I love a great party. Especially if it’s something girly and bringing fab women together to fellowship. Last night I wanted some of my fav bloggers and media folks to come out to experience some pampering and try the new fall colors from O.P.I.. I still have an obsession with anything nails because I was a nail salon owner for many years,so it’s still in my blood lol.

We all met at the beautiful Pampered Nail and Body Spa in the Castleberry Hills. Yolanda Owens is the owner of this hip, organic spa and she made everyone feel so welcomed. As the ladies arrived, we had pink bubbly by Barefoot wine and Cakeballs by Nikki waiting for them. The ladies then got to pick out their fav color from O.P.I. Fall Swiss Collection and get their hands and feet done.

We laughed, complimented each other on their polish choices, snapped pics and just had a relaxing time. I did a few give a ways and Yolanda introduced her line of organic skincare and products that she makes. O.P.I. also has a line of organic nail polish too that Yolanda carries in her spa, thats cool!

Park 75 Blogger’s Brunch

Me, Abigail, and Pia

Saturday morning I got up to prepare for an invite to a Blogger’s Brunch at Park 75, which is located inside Four Seasons hotel in midtown. My assistant Pia and I met up and we were off.

When we got to the hotel we were greeted by Ms.Marsha and Abigail who planned the event. I was eager to know what was going to go on and Marsha said, no its a surprise! I worked the room as usual as Pia started to take pics.

We then were asked to take the elevators up to the rooftop were we all got mimosas and thats when the party started lol. Chef Robert Gerstenecker introduced his self and started to show us his fresh herbal gardens and bee collection. He taught us about growing fresh herbs and how important bees were and why there has been a shortage. He then wanted us to touch and pick up some of the bee hives and I quickly moved to the back lol.

It was a great learning experience but I’m too scarey to pick up bees. He said when its rainy or chilly out the bees get aggravated,um no thanks lol. Chef Robert then said he would be preparing some of our food with the things from the rooftop.

We all then went downstairs to the dining area at Park 75 and the place settings were so nice. I then noticed big tv monitors and Marsha told us that as we tweeted it would appear on the screens. That was so pinktastic.

For brunch we had,Athens Benedict,Chicken & Waffle, Wood Grilled Waygu Skirt Steak, Tempura Squash Blossom, Seared Scallop. Everything was really good and I didnt leave a drop on my plate lol.

After brunch we all were invited into the kitchen area where we were served hand dipped Park 75 doughnuts, house sorbet, and other sweet bites.

I got to meet alot of food bloggers and mommy bloggers and more. I also saw some familiar faces like my friend Marian from; Haute Travels,Patti of; Anatomy of a Dinner Party, Shameeka from; The Broke Socialite, and personal chef Bren from; Flanboyanteats.

We had a great time at the brunch and everything was so thought out and fun. I also loved the flowers in the hotel, gorg! The goody bags were great too. I would like to thank Marsha and Abigail for such a wonderful afternoon. Enjoy the pics and Happy Sunday everyone.
