TalkingWithTami: Hello Terri girl you are so fun! It was soo nice seeing you on the red carpet at the Bravo A-list Awards in Los Angeles! Tell us how you got into fashion?

I have always loved it! I use to sneak on my grandmothers sewing machine lol. I would redo her 60′s and 70′s outfits and change them around. I went to Columbia University for fashion and worked under Barbara Bates designs. We sewed for Oprah,Eddie Murphy,Shaq, so many celebrities. I loved working with her.

Talking With Tami: Project Runway is a very popular reality show. I know I am a huge fan. Tell us how you liked being on Season 5?

It was normal life to me. Fast paced,running around, Im so use to that, didnt bother me at all. I was meant to be on tv lol. I already knew how to make clothing in record time. If you watched the show, I was always finished early. Some people on the show smiled in your face, then stabbed you in your back, that was nothing new lol. I always got targeted by others…usual stuff.

Talking With Tami: Who are some of your fav designers?

Some of my favorite designers are John Galliano, I would love to meet him! Karl Lagerfield is another one,  I finallygot to meet him. I sent him my book of my designs. He was very nice, I was very surprised. I also like John Paul Gaultier. As far as American designers, I like Calvin Klein,Donna Karan and Helmut Lang.

Talking With Tami: Whats your personal style?

My personal style is very b-boy,hip hop, cat walker,adidas,puma jogging pants and heels, I can rock anything lol.

TalkingWithTami: Tell us about your Funkin Beautiful clothing line?

Funkin Beautiful is a state of mind. Its a sub culture,hip,punk,rock meets the world. Socialites,graffiti artists,lauren hill,stephen tyler,micheal jackson,prince,female impersonators and more! My clothing line is in high end boutiques all over.
