Senator Kasim Reed, Chilli and Will Packer

I’m always going somewhere fun & fabulous and tonite was just that! The beautiful Rozanda “Chilli” Thomas honored her former classmate, Mayoral candidate Senator Kasim Reed. This black tie, red carpet affair was held at Entertainment Attorney, Charles Mathis’s estate in Atlanta. The event was called,”A celebration of new direction“. Everyone looked Pinktabulous in their gowns and tuxedos!

As I looked down the red carpet, I saw singers Christal and QParker,the group 3D,actresses Erica Hubbard and Nicki Micheaux from Lincoln Heights,FilmMaker Will Packer,and Boxer Floyd Mayweather. I got a chance to talk to alot of the celebs but was very inquisitive to talk with Floyd Mayweather. I’ve never met him before and heard he was a hoot! I asked him why he was in town because I know he lives in Las Vegas. He quickly told me,” because of Chilli”, “we went out a couple of times and I know her family too”.”I flew in town just to see her” as he smiled at me, his eyes lit up! Hmm?

As the nite went on, I did notice Floyd all up in Chilli’s ear whispering sweet nothings…as she grinned! What was that about, Okay? They would make a cute couple because both of them are petite and he seems like a cool cat! His pockets arent that bad either…shut up!

I asked Chilli what was her reality show, The Chilli Project going to be about and she said it wasn’t going to be a typical reality show. She will focus on her issues id dating and why she is so picky. She told me women shouldn’t settle and that they deserve more! She said she is holding out for the right guy lol. She further went on to say, it’s going to be very well put together, no hollering, yelling and looking a hot mess on tv! I hope so because The Atlanta Housewives are giving me an ulcer with their show, smh! We will see Chilli, I’m rooting for you!

Chilli looked amazing in her skintight black dress! Her shoes were to die for and if Im not mistaken they were YSL. Her makeup and hair was gorgeous,she looked very classy! It was alot of men there with no dates in tuxedos too, I was in heaven! Nothing like a well dressed man in a suit and dont have nice teeth… chile bye! You would have thought that,Chilli would have met somebody at the party. It was some very influential men in the room with 401 k’s and dental insurance lmao!

Later in the evening QParker and Christal sang a duet. Chilli then awarded her former high school classmate, Senator Kasim Reed with a plaque to say job well done! Will Packer said a brief speech and then Senator Kasim took the mic. He talked about how are children need great role models and how young kids need guidance. He made alot of sense because so many of our youth are out here just lost. I pray we come together as a community and get these kids back on track!

The evening was so fun mixing and mingling with everyone and I had a ball hanging out with Floyd Mayweather! He took my camera and started taking pics of me and my girlfriends Tish and Monica. Floyd was getting his photography on, so he gets a shout out for that and photo credits lol. Thanks Floyd I felt special lol.

Meet 3D!

New Hip Hop & R&B Sensation 3D

Today was a fun day! A good friend of mine had a meet and greet/listening party with a new group called,3d! I know you guys may not have heard of them but you will soon! 3D consist of, Dre,D, and DJ! Two of the young men are boxer Roy Jones Jr sons and the other member is a cousin. Two rap and the other one sings, they were entertaining to watch! Dre is 16 he is the rapper,D is 18 and the singer, and DJ is 16 and he raps and beatbox. The handsome trio told me that they have incorporated their group and that they are shoooting a reality show about their quest to get a record deal.

They have also been shopping around for a label. They said thats alot of work to do lol. They have been on school tours and camps. They were on Bow Wow’s Price of Fame tour and also been on tour with Rhianna right before she blew up! The guys joked with me on how they use to eat KFC with her in the trailers lol. I asked the guys what was their fav song and they all said at the same time, “Body Rock“. They said they came out with that song a couple of months ago. They said the song is about meeting a girl and making her feel like a lady.

I got a chance to chat with Roy Jones Jr and asked him what he thought about the group. He said he was very proud of them. I had no idea that Dre and DJ were Roy Jones twin sons lol. He spoke very highly of all of them,with a huge grin on his face lol. He said,” it’s so fun to see all of them come up”. He said,” only God could have brought them this far”. He said, he has tried to instill in them that with hard work, it will pay off. He said that he hopes that he was a good example for them. He also taught them to never give up no matter what! You can only get better!

I thought I was going to have a problem with Roy Jones because I know that some boxers can be so over the top lol. After being around him for a couple of hours I found him to be quiet,funny and humble. I like people like that. The group 3D made everyone feel right at home and they all had great personalities. Shortly after the meet and greet,Christal Jordan of Enchanted PR announced for all of us to go into the studio to hear some of their music.

The guys performed some of their songs and played about 4 tracks. I really liked the song Body Rock but my favorite song was Melody. Melody was a slow song with great words. I just liked the beat and the words the most. Im not really a music critic but I know what I like and that was one of them. The young men are from Pensacola, Florida but reside in Atlanta,Ga now.
