Puttin on the Ritz with Devyne Stephens!

If you missed this party you were missing something fantastic! Devyne Stephens held his annual Christmas Gala and boy was it a star studded affair! Not only did Devyne put on a great show but he also donated a check for 300,000 to The Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta! He will be partnering with them for alot of things and I’m proud of him for caring for the kids!

The event was beautiful and shouts out to his pr/event planners for making the Atlanta History Museum look gorg! Everyone was wearing formal wear and looking extravagant as they strutted the red carpet! The theme was Putting On The Ritz! He arrived by police escort in a horse and carriage. In his carriage was Akon and Yung Joc dressed in white. I loved Devyne’s outfit and he told me he was styled by Middle Man.

Celeb sightings I saw were,Lisa Wu Hartwell,Ed Hartwell, singer Monica,Jermaine Dupri, B5,Mark Hayes,Suchita, Slim from 112,Ralph Tresvant from New Edition, and a host of others. Devyne then hit the stage and accepted an award and gave a speech before breaking out in a dance. All these beautiful Dame Aflame Showgirls appeared with white feathers along with pretty ballroom dancers! It was something to see!

The room then trickled with white snow from above, very festive! You can tell he put alot of effort into his night,everything was beautiful.He was the Man of the Year! Well check out the pics I could get below because it was mad crowded.Thanks to his team for inviting me out, I had a great time!

Congrats to Sharlinda & Sabrina!

Congrats to Sharlinda Rowe-Parker and Sabrina Rowe for their partnership with The Arches at Lenox Sq Mall. The girls have joined their master nail skills with the art of threading. Ive seen women get their eyebrows threaded in the mall but Ive never tried it. The Arches threading lounge is located on the lower level of Lenox Mall.

There you can get your makeup done by Toni Acey(http://www.makenitup.com/) get your eyebrows done or a full nail service. I remember back in the day I owned, Nails by Tami! What fun I had owning that fun salon and doing nails! Well, I wish the ladies lots of luck with there new venture! Check out the party pics below! Click to enlarge.

Lisa Wu Hartwell’s Dinner Affair

While back, I got a private invite to Lisa Wu Hartwell’s dinner party. I remember awhile back at Niecy Nash’s birthday bash, Lisa asking me if I wanted to attend her dinner party. We had always been cordial but I didnt think she was really serious about inviting me to her home. Lisa and Ed have always been so fun to see on the red carpets. I have always been Lisa’s purse holder too, so she could take good pics on the carpet,she told me that she liked my spirit.

Well come to find out, Lisa lives down the road from me, so that made it even better. As I got all gussied up, I headed over to her house and it was such a beautiful gated community. The first thing I thought about was all the rumors that most of the housewives of Atlanta were broke….well everyone The Hartwells do not fit that description at all! Woot!

They have it goin on, with their beautiful mansion,pool,spa,workout gym, bowling alley named “Hartwell Lanes” and wine cellar, just to name of few things in their home. I said,”Lisa you have to show me your closet”! But we will get back to that later…

The guest started to arrive like Q from 112, Kandis(new housewife) and her fiance A.J. Jewell which was really nice,Dwight Eubanks and more. The dinner affair was lovely and prepared by Chef Keith Kash.

I felt so honored you guys to be there and among the other guests. Im glad that Lisa felt like I was genuine enough. My friend Diane Larche(Larche Communications) sat next to me,we had so much fun.

You should have seen Lisa’s dress, she looked like a princess, she said a designer by the name of Tracy made it for her, very stunning! Ed looked handsome in his custom made suit too. He told me he was leaving to tryout for a new team, he was excited about that.

So back to the Lisa’s closet…lol. After everyone left we were all sitting at the kitchen counter just chatting it up when Lisa went and changed and pulled her hair back in a ponytail. She is so real you guys! She still looked cute with sweats on lol. Kandis(former member of Escape) and I said,” show us around”.

Lisa showed us her art room where she paints, she has some great abstract work shes done. Then she took us to her bedroom,I’ve never seen anyones bedroom designed like hers. It was like a purple and blue color with tray ceilings. Very pretty silk linens, curtains and fab bed! Then she opened the door to her closet, I almost fainted from looking at all the shoes!!! Her closet was my bedroom lol! Rows and Rows of glittery lil shoes. I said Lisa what size do you wear? She said,” 7″. I was mad, cause I saw some Christian Louboutin shoes I was looking at! The clothes this Diva has is unbelievable, it was so fun looking at her dresses and suits,so fun!

Im so glad The Hartwells invited me out, what a blessing! It was truly a fun and rememberable night. I didnt get home till 2am! Cant wait to do it again!
