TalkingWithTami: Hello Helen! I am still carrying my wonderful purse that you custom made for me! How have you been and tell my readers about your products!
Well – I have been very busy with new collections and designs – Our new everyday tote bag and the new doctors bag as well as new design on the frame handbags – Once upon a time collection – fairytales with the stories on the back…we recently launched these in Paris, France at Pret a Porter and Whos Next where they apeared on the catwalk. We have been appearing in alot of international fashion press and have now got collectors. We have also recently collaborated with a US artist Miss Kika and a UK artist Sarah Graham. Oh yes and we have just opened our first store north of London – which looks like a mixture of wonderland and a sweet shop…..with an old fashioned bell on the door, a giant pink flamingo in the window, black and white square flooring, a silver cuckoo clock and an original 1960′s red vespa scooter, and a 70′s corner bar at the counter….not your average store!
TalkingWithTami: You are all about style and color! How do you come up with all the fun loving items that you have?
I am not entirely sure sometimes… I just suck everything up around me – I love english eccentricity, kitsch, French kookiness, funny, bizarre, urban, old, new, vintage, unique. Certain films influence me – Alice in Wonderland, Mary Poppins, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Amelie…french films, Chocolat.
Fairytales dark and beautiful. Sweet shops and cake shops…..I dont tend to follow fashion I love 40′s, 50′s and 60′s design music and art.
TalkingWithTami: I see that you have purses,totes and more,what something else brewing in your brain to come out with next?
I am working on a capsule collection of clothing to reflect the handbags and shoes to match – so watch this space…..
My next collection of handbags – I am thinking Old Britannia, zoology….????

TalkingWithTami:Is it hard for you to work with customers in the United States since your in the United Kingdom? Any words of wisdom for others who may be out of the country trying to introduce their product to other countries?
It is harder but now with networking sites like myspace and Facebook it is much easier. Plus with the internet it is now a global market.
We would love to sell in even more stores in the USA and working on it all of the time. We are members of the UK Fashion Exports which helps UK businesses export to other countries. Also the UK Trade and Investment works with UK businesses to export.
