Meet & Greet With Officials,Dunn’s River Falls And More!

I woke up with a big stretch and hurried to get ready to a fun filled day in Kingston,Jamaica. Kingston is the largest city in Jamaica and we had many stops to make. We first headed to the Jamaica Tourist Board to meet the Minister of tourism Edmund Bartlett.The Global International beauty contestants were  all dressed in business attire. The girls lined up outside of the building and quickly drew a huge crowd from the streets. They took photos and then headed inside to each receive a welcome gift from the board. We all received a Jamaica tote bag filled with goodies.

I asked the Honorable Edmund Bartlett how did he feel about the importance of the Global International Pageant being held in Jamaica and he said, “it was great for globalization”. He also stated that he was very impressed with the beautiful ladies and they spoke very well. We then made our way to a huge mansion where we met Portia Simpson, who was the former Leader of Opposition. After more photo opts they then announced that we would be going to Dunn’s River Falls! We made a quick pit stop to Emancipation Park where we walked around and got cold drinks. This park was in the heart of Kingston.Everyone changed in swimwear and was too excited to cool off.

If you ever plan to visit Jamaica you have to check out this place! The waterfall is something to see! The tour guide took us to the falls where all the ladies had their photoshoot, then was able to climb the falls in the frigid waters. I was taking pictures but wanted to do it soo bad! I did put my feet in the water it was freezing! After that we headed for lunch at Riu’s Resort, then later drove some more to Mystic India for a private cocktail party. The ladies were introduced and given a bouquet of flowers and a big book about Jamaica.

I headed back to the bus and crashed and when I woke up we were back at Grand Palladium Hotel. I never ran back to my room so fast to get a shower and hit the sheets! I was exhausted but I had the best time of my life! Enjoy the pics and stop back for more posts! xoxo
