Mayor Eric J. Brewer
I was out editing yesterday when I started to get alot of phone calls and emails. I was like wow what is going on? Well, I got word that back home our Mayor of East Cleveland had gotten into a bit of trouble. I still had no idea what was going on till I was able to get home and view my pictures and videos. Come to find out they had pics and videos of Eric Brewer in drag! I was in total disbelief because I had just met and interviewed Mayor Eric Brewer this past summer. I went to Shaw High School located in East Cleveland,Ohio. Although I never lived in East Cleveland that was the school I attended for four years. Mayor Eric Brewer went to my same high school as me but he had graduated earlier on. Mayor Eric J. Brewer is the 4th elected mayor of the City of East Cleveland and the first Chief Executive Officer to have attended Shaw High School.
I remember when I interviewed Mayor Brewer, it was so much fun! He was and I still think is the nicest guy I’ve ever met! We talked about politics,food,E.Cleveland,music and how he loved Jay Z. He was quite funny and charming. Whatever way this fiasco turns out, we still need to suppport each other. I don’t really see what he did wrong because he didn’t commit a crime. If he was “allegedly” cross dressing who did he hurt? As long as he did his job well,who are we to judge him? What people do behind closed doors is their business, atleast thats how I see it. Whatever happens, I still say he was such a wonderful person. My prayers goes out to him and his family.

This would have never aired if this wasn’t election year. I believe if you don’t hurt anyone then what you do should not be anyone’s else business. This could also be photo shopped.

Hey Tami!!.. Eric Brewer is my cousin…I found out looking at dlisted.com..I immediatly caled my uncle(they are 1st cousins and went to Shaw at the same time) and he , like you, said his phone had been blowing up..After getting a good laugh at the pictures..And yes I did laugh, because I think we take this world to serious…I feel as you do, THER WAS NO CRIME COMMITED..So if he was a good Mayor, that should not deter anyone from voting for him..But I know it will..
