If you weren’t at the Jeffrey Fashion Cares show last night, well you missed something spectacular. I never seen so many well dressed people in one room lol. As we call it back home, people were, “Casket Sharp” lol. The fashion show was held at a swanky office space located high up on the 32nd floor in midtown.
It was a gorgeous view as people mingled and sipped cocktails and munched on hors d’oeuvres. I went around the room and talked with a lot of fab people and ran into some friends. The fashions were great that I saw walking around and the shoes were Pinktacular! I chatted with Honorary Chair, Sara Blakely, she was dressed in a beautiful printed dress with killer shoes. Then I met designers and special guests, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez of Proenza Schouler. They were the coolest to talk to and told me that this was their first time in Atlanta. I was unfamiliar with their line but would love to be at their next fashion show coming up in a few weeks in NY.

Jeffrey then came out and talked about his dad and how he hardly ever missed any of his 20 shows except 2, he passed in April. He introduced his board members then they had a live auction. Jeffrey Fashion Cares gives to the Susan G. Komen Foundation as well as Aids Atlanta for research. Jeffrey stated that he is “determined” to raise more money. People bidded on Tiffany jewelry and trips to different places. The highest bid went to a pair of Tiffany earrings that sold for 10,000! I saw a lil girl bid, it was too cute! After that,it was time for the show to start. I was sitting in front row, so I was too excited to see the latest collection!
Proenza Schouler outfit
First out of the gate was an outfit designed by Proenza Schouler. I loved the textured pants and the shoes were hott! Some of the other fashion patrons were Prada, Givenchy, Jimmy Choo, Manolo Blahnik, Christian Louboutin,Valentino, YSL, Versace, Gucci.
I couldn’t make out who designed the shoes but they kinda reminded me of Alexander Mcqueen. They showed lots of shorts with thick textured tights, blazers, leather stretch leggings, pleated skirts and double breasted tailored blazers. I saw bright neon colored coats and outfits in Pink, Yellow,Blue,Green,Orange and Red, loved!
I want this!!!!
They paired the traditional trench coat with leggings or tights and turtlenecks with boots and heels. I saw some leopard dresses and sequins and high waisted mini skirts. I loved the vintage style petti coats and long gloves with dresses and a few evening gowns. So this fall you will see lots of tights, turtlenecks, sweaters and leggings and plenty of color that pops.
They are too cute!

My boo, need I say more! lol
The evening was so fun and the fashions were smokin and the models were gorg! I really enjoyed the show and loved the goody bag! If you’re in Atlanta or plan to visit stop in Jeffrey’s it’s located in Phipps Plaza on the lower level. Thanks to CarenWest Pr for the invite, you’re a doll!
