Essie was recently at New York Fashion Week doing many manicures for the runway shows. They had some great looks and I wanted to share with you one of their techniques for your nails. It’s different and cute.
Start with a very thin layer of ‘first base base coat’ to anchor the polish. Apply a coat of ‘little brown dress’ over the entire nail, and working quickly, dip the brush into ‘good to go’ to thin out the color from tip to end. The trick to creating an ombre effect is to work with wet polish, and to do one nail at a time.
When polish is dried, apply a thin layer of ‘luxeffects’ in ‘as gold as it gets’ for texture. No need to apply another top coat because you’re already working with ‘good to go’. How fun! Hope you like it, will you try this? xoxo
