I do not like any kind of war movies what so ever. Thats just me but I went to the advance screening of Battleship anyway and I must say, I really enjoyed the film. It’s Transformers meets Alien on steroids! It was full of action and I fell deeply in love for so many of the characters. To my surprise, Rihanna(Raikes) stayed in the film longer than I expected. RiRi played her part well. I liked actor Taylor Kitsch(Hopper) who was a misfit but later turned his life around. I will admit that Battleship started off extremely slow and me and friend Derek J was ready to make our exit, when finally it picked up and the action began! I’m so glad I’ve learned to have more patience lol. It’s a family film, so you can bring the whole gang to see it! I think they will leave very inspired.This movie made me have more respect now for people that serve in the military. I hardly have anyone in my family that has been in any of the armed forces but this film made me more aware and how they protect our country.

My favorite breakout star and character in the movie was active-duty soldier Gregory D. Gadson(Mick). It was his film debut and I liked his warm spirit so much! I loved the realness he brought to the film. In real life,Gadson was severely wounded by an improvised explosive and lost both of his legs. Today, he still remains on active-duty. Another scene that I really enjoyed was when they mixed ol school with new school. You will have to go see the movie to know what I mean by this.The graphics,action scenes,computer technology used and storyline was very good. If you like explosives,action,aliens and more, you will like this! I give the movie Battleship an A! xoxo

Pinky Review: I first smelled the new fragrance Bombshell The Summer Edition back a few months ago when I met with my friend that works at Victoria’s Secret for lunch during NYFW. She made me a goody bag filled with new scents and more. When I sprayed the sample bottle, I told her It was going to be a hit! I was too excited about it and she said it would be coming to stores soon. She didn’t forget that I LOVED the fragrance and sent it to me the other day as a birthday treat and to say thanks for my continuous support of the brand. Its so yummy smelling and I wear it every single day! It’s a very subtle fragrance and reminds me of being on the beach. Now I have a bigger bottle to douce myself in ha! It’s available now thru the Summer.

Yes,it was about that time!!! Unfortunately where I currently live I have carpet,argh! I haven’t had carpet in years but hey I gotta do what I gotta do. I’m so use to hardwood floors, I forgot about the upkeep of carpet! Along with having carpet and kids, you can imagine what it looked like with spills,drops and stains here and there. A good friend of mine gave me a call and said, “hey Tami, I started my own carpet cleaning business, can I come out and clean your carpet?” I jumped at the offer and set up a date! The very next day my tattered carpet was back to looking new again and it made our home look so much nicer. He was in and out in about 45 minutes and a lot of my neighbors came by to check it out and get his card! Even the grounds manager asked for a card because he said he was tired of doing all the units himself lol. Andre also cleaned my huge area rug which had a bit of stains on it. The carpet was dry in a few hours too! He doesn’t just clean homes either, he does businesses big and small. I was a bit concerned with the chemicals used in the cleaning process and especially since I’m trying hard to be eco-friendly but he assured me it was safe. What a great treat I received a few days ago in the mail. It was a package of multi-colored hoop earrings from a company called, EarJeans! I love colorful and bright accessories and these big hoops made my day.They are lightweight with colorful beads and very fashionable.You know big hoops are all the craze now! Before I could get the package open though a little tween was lurking around the corner! Thats right, my tween daughter Dootie just took over my earrings and started modeling in them and taking photos! She made instagram pics and sent them to twitter! I feel like I’m getting a bit closer to Paris,France now that I received this yummy biscuits from a cute company called, Biscuiteers. I saw them on a fellow bloggers site and reached out to them! They shipped me these mini tins called, Killer Heels, how fun and appropriate huh? They arrived packaged so elegantly and when I opened the tin, they smelled so good! The lil heels are sparkly and it put a big smile on my face! They’re stacked row after row of colorful little heels, so cute!
