Inside Eminence Nails and Spa

Today I had a great time going to review Eminence Nails and Spa. This is Atlanta’s best kept secret and even I didn’t know about it. This nail and spa has been in business for over two years and is tucked in the ritzy Buckhead part of Atlanta. When I pulled up in the 2011 Corvette the parking lot was full. I think thats because Eminence is located in a busy shopping plaza lol.

When I went inside all I saw was a sea of people moving very fast, going in and out the door. I was thinking I was in the wrong place at first but yes this was it lol. I asked for the manager,then Tim came out and greeted me. He was very friendly and eager to show me around. I felt like I was standing in the Taj Mahal with all the paintings,statues,columns and artwork throughout the facility.

We headed to the back area where they do full body messages,facials, skin care treatments,waxing,hair removal,eye lash extensions and more. I quickly started reading over the brochure, the prices were not bad at all. I was a salon owner for years, so I thought the prices were reasonable and didn’t give you heart attack. It was a little intimidating at first because of the way it looks and the clientel. The first impression is that it’s going to be expensive because of the massive space with 40 diverse employees and the decor but no it’s pretty affordable.

The message areas have different rooms for singles or if you would like to get one with a girlfriend or significant other. There were rows and rows of manicure stations and pedicure areas. Everyone looked so happy and relaxed, I think I saw a few people sleep in the chairs lol. I was then told to have a seat at one of the pedicure stations to start my service. I was too tickled pink for this experience. I noticed when I sat down, that they had plastic inside the bowls. They said they do this for health reasons and they discard of it after every customer. All the implements they used were  sterilized and ready to go to. I was in this field, so you know I was watching every lil thing lol.

I was then greeted by Lee and she was full of smiles as she asked me what I wanted to drink. I looked at her in a confused way and she said, “yes we offer coffee,tea,green tea, soda or wine”. I said, oh chile give me a coke but I know I will be back for sure now!” Now that is some service and no wonder they were packed to the ceiling! I got the Delux Spa Pedi and it felt so good. They covered my legs with a towel too because I was wearing a dress,nice touch! Then she did the nail soak, nail trim and shaping, cuticle grooming and conditioning, sugar scrub,lotion message then polish. You know I got pink lol.

I was then approached by nail tech Nita. She gave me a manicure then a “Gelish” finish. She said it’s the hottest thing out and it doesn’t chip,peel and last 2 weeks. I got a sparkly pink color. I usually don’t get my fingers painted but I wanted to try the gel finish to see what it was all about. For a pedi and mani your looking to pay about 90.00 for both. They have cheaper services though, I’m just pricing what I got.

I really enjoyed my experience at Eminence Nail and Spa and will be back! My daughter loves getting pampered and her birthday is coming up, so I will be sure to bring her. Thanks to Tim,Tammy, Lee and  Nita, I enjoyed my nail service and don’t worry I will tell a friend!
