NeNe is the hardest working lady I know in reality tv land! She will be back on Glee on Tuesday night Feb 7th! Leakes plays Coach Roz that will be going toe to toe with Sue Sylvester in this weeks episode. This will be NeNe’s second appearance on this top rated tv show. She will also be co-hosting on The Talk next Wednesday & Thursday! You can say what you want about NeNe but one thing for sure, she is cashing major checks! Can’t be mad at that, what else are the other ladies really doing? Who mad!

So sad to hear about the passing of Don Cornelius earlier today! In his honor BET will pay tribute to him all weekend. Who hasn’t danced down a Soul Train line at a party, wedding reception or somewhere! He will be truly missed! When he aired his first show on a public access channel, I was 2 years old! He paved the way for a lot of people like myself! May he R.I.P. xoxo

NEW YORK — February 1, 2012 — BET and CENTRIC will pay homage to SOUL TRAIN creator, executive producer and host Don Cornelius with a special lineup of programming dedicated to his prolific life and legacy. On tonight’s episode of 106 & PARK at 6:00 p.m.*, hosts Terrence J and Rocsi will honor the life and accomplishments of the Soul Train founder with a special vignette followed by the documentary SOUL TRAIN: HIPPEST TRIP IN AMERICA at 8:00 p.m.* In addition, CENTRIC, the flagship network for the SOUL TRAIN AWARDS, will run a special 24-hour marathon of classic SOUL TRAIN episodes beginning tonight at 12:00 a.m.*

He was a pioneer in the television and music industries and his legacy and influence on American culture will continue to live on for many generations to come. Talk show diva Wendy Williams unveiled today on her show that she is launching a full fledge accessory line exclusively sold at QVC called, Adorn. She said she chose QVC to partner with because she has shopped with them for over 23 years. She shared that she will carry bracelets in different colored metals,belts to accentuate the waistline, blingy rings and more! There will also be hats and shoes. On the show today she had on QVC host, Lisa Robertson where they unveiled three pieces from the collection. Both ladies modeled jewelry from the line. I liked the cocktail rings but the necklace that Wendy wore, I was not too moved by it. Either way good for her! It will go on sale this Friday,Feb 3rd on QVC so tune in to see that! One thing I can say about Wendy is that she is always working to build her empire, good job! xoxo

Talk show host and Diva, Wendy Williams is following in the foot steps of Halle Berry I see! It’s said that she will launch her very own fashionable shoe line Adorn during the Fashion Footwear Association of New York Conference this week. The line is produced by Ashley Taylor & co and ISO New York.  We know she adores ballet flats, so I’m sure that will be part of the Fall 2012 collection. She also kept ladies in mind that have a larger foot. There will be sizes up to a 12.

Burlesque Dancer Dita Von Teese just launched her Muse collection. The Launch capsule collection features 5 pieces including vintage-inspried dresses and a tulle layered trench coat. They include couture detailing and grosgrain ribbon that cinches the waist to create a fab silhouette. I’m bummed out because currently it’s only available in Melbourne,Australia exclusively at David Jones. Boo, but hopefully she brings it to the states soon. I love a fab black dress and I think I just counted 10 in my closet lol. My hubby always say, well how many darn black dresses do you need? I tell em, you can’t have enough of them! I might add that one of my favorite tools of seduction is a sexy coat, which I wear with nothing but black stockings and lingerie underneath!”

“This is a combination of two of my vintage dresses. The luxurious velvet ribbon straps tied neatly in a bow is a detail from a 1930s gown that I own. The inspiration for the fabric comes from a favorite 1940s dress in my closet. I had the idea of reworking this beautiful print with my signature retro-styled half moon manicure. It was 20 years ago that I first discovered this vintage beauty method of manicure by closely studying vintage glamour photos, and I’ve been painting my nails this way ever since. It’s an obsession of mine, so I was delighted to find a way to work it into the silk print!”

The Follow Me Dress
“This is designed after a dress from the 1950s that I have worn over and over for about eleven years, and I always get compliments on it. It is timeless and always chic, which makes it a perfect wardrobe staple. I like to wear it with different vintage brooches from my collection on the shoulder. I have worn this dress over the years on red carpets, to events, parties and for many a romantic rendezvous. We remade this dress with a beautiful silk lining and silk chiffon, and I’m especially happy to have an improved version of the original dress in my wardrobe!”

“There is a very simple, sleek black vintage dress I wear often, and one of my most elegant friends loves this dress, often stating it is so simple, yet it is the height of chic, with nothing to distract from the beauty of woman.
