I loooove jewelry fake, real, faux whatever. I think its all beautiful and I love when people mix and match sparkly items together. My jewelry chest is filled with keepsakes, things my mom and grandma gave me and so much more! I love pearl necklaces, my extensive Betsey Johnson jewels, watches and rings. I love to dress up and you should too! Wear that diamond or rhinestoned necklace with a sundress, who cares, be a girly and glam up any outfit,its fun and pinktastic! Enjoy your tuesday!

Holly Madison and I in Vegas

It’s Pink Saturday again and boy times zips by lol. Shout out to Beverly over at How Sweet the Sound.  Today what better way to celebrate all things pink, than with my girl Holly Madison. She is a lover of pink and likes Betsey Johnson clothing. She unveiled 3 new “Vegas” couture pops at Sugar Factory at the Paris Las Vegas hotel. The city of Las Vegas declared July 20th, “National Lollipop Day” how fun! The candy store is set to open later this year.

Holly looked great on the pink carpet in her Betsey Johnson dress and Miu Miu platform heels. They went all out with the Bally’s Jubilee showgirls being there as well. They all looked Pinktastic! I was fortunate to go see Holly’s Peepshow in Vegas, she looked cute. She also has her own reality show on E! called, Holly’s World.Enjoy the pics and happy Pink Saturday!

Lillie Mae and I

I had a conversation with my friend (Editor in Chief of Sir Magazine)Lillie Mae about one day going thrift shopping together. She called me this morning and asked if I felt like going shopping. I’m always in the mood to thrift shop, so we headed out to some of my fav thrift stores in Buford,Ga. She says in downtown Atlanta, there thrift stores aren’t that great, so she was happy to come out here in the boonies to shop with  me.

Dresses at Goodwill Buford,Ga

When we got there, we parted ways and came back together with filled carts. Goodwill must have had a huge shipment because we both had lots of great finds. I found 2 vintage hats for 2.49 a piece and 2 dresses for 5.89. I was too excited! She found 4 skirts, shirts and belts. She is a skirt girl with a very eccentric taste, not like me. She likes dark patterned styles, while I like very girly pastel colors lol. It’s fun to see different styles that people have when you shop together lol.

Lillie’s thrift finds

She told me something that I thought was very interesting. Lillie is smaller than me but she likes to buy long skirts and pull them up like strapless dresses and belts them. She finds elastic waist skirts and makes tunics. I thought that was a great styling tip! I would have never thought to do that lol.

We then came out of the dressing rooms smiling! All of my things fit and she was excited that all of her things fit too. She showed me her look with the skirt belted and it was really cute!

Pyscho Sisters in Lil 5 Points

She then asked me if I had ever visited Lil 5 points. I said I had drove threw there but never really stopped to shop. We headed that way and I saw some fab things down there! That area reminds me of The Village in NYC. I must say though, it is pricey compared to my thrift finds for a few dollars. The same vintage dresses I get for 5.00 dollars were down there for $45 and up. I was not happy with that at all.

Rag-O-Rama in Lil 5 Points

I did find one vintage dress that I bought in Rag-O-Rama.Their prices weren’t too bad. I paid $20 for it but it was well worth it.  You will have to wait to see it because I have to get it cleaned and altered first.

Hmm Maryan, I don’t know if I really have one lol. I love so many pretty things but I love the color pink and adding it to anything I wear. I love a poofy dress too. I have a very eclectic style of dress. Flirty, sexy and fun!

My biggest splurge is anything Betsey Johnson or Tarina Tarantino love their stores, omg too pinkalicious!

I’m really liking Black Eyed Peas new song, “Imma B” that makes me wanna boogy!

What motivates you?

What motivates me is waking up and looking at my kids faces. They make me wanna do better, go out and tackle this crazy world. I don’t want them ever to need anything!
What makes you feel glamorous?

A nice hairdo,perfect makeup, sexy heels and a pretty pink dress and a lil sparkle makes me feel glamorous.

Something you own or outfit that you can’t part with? Why?

All of my Betsey Johnson dresses and shoes I will never part with! All 20 pairs of shoes are dear to my heart, pretty much all of my Betsey Johnson things, Dear Lord! I think because she is a lover of pink and we have similar taste, plus she is fun and energetic makes me love her so much!
What’s your biggest fashion secret?

One of my biggest fashion secrets is that I love to shop at Goodwill and vintage stores. Half of my wardrobe is from there and people always ask me where I get my unique pieces from. Yes, I love going to those stores! It’s therapy for me lol.
