I’m going to write this post just like I saw it, so bare with me and keep up lol. I absolutely love Atlanta! You just never know what your going to see here. I dont care if its 105 degrees outside,you just may see somebody in a full length mink coat, or a guy with a baton and a pink tutu…snaps!
Well Bronner Bros came back this year and they brought out every Rainbow Brite character you could ever imagine to their hair show! Im not saying that in a bad way,im talking about characters that were fierce,fly,died,fried,glued,quickweaved,sprayed and layed to the motherf*ckin side!
When we got the the show,my daughter became very overwhelmed quickly because she just didnt know what to expect. It was her first time…po baby!Ive been in the beauty industry well over 15yrs. I owned a nail salon in Cleveland many moons ago, and I was doing my thing with the nail art back in the day. I entered many nail competitions and I remember the more drama you created or attention you drew to yourself, the better! Add a lil pink fairy dust and an attitude and you were sure to win, ha! I have plenty of trophies to prove it!

Fun and Entertainment is exactly what the Bronner Bros brought to the Georgia World Congress Center today! Gazillions of people came out,if you missed it today,get your booty down there tomorrow! It was pure excitement in the air! Every hairstylist,barber,nail tech,manufacturer,salon owner,product specialist,shampoo assistant,masseuse,quick weave specialist,hell the whole beauty industry was there, plus!
Walking down the isles at the show I saw, flea market finds,antiques,Fucci bags,glitter and sparkle for your hair,shoes,guy in gator suit worth $30,000…why? lol, rainbow colored hair of your choice, just about everything you would want to buy or not lol.

On the other hand,I also saw some great healthy hair stations,pinktastic hair products,motions,clairol,f.h.i heat,Derek J doing platform work,platform stylists ,PZI jeans with some huge afro girl models, and I did see some classy and stylish hair do’s as well.

It was a mesh of young people hairstyles and my kinda hair lol. I loved every minute of it! Bronner Bros had something for everyone and the demos and educational courses that were offered this year were great! I also loved the hair competition portion where it was down between a 15yr old girl that had red feathers in her hair andsome type of short do and a guy rockin a gold n fire engine red bob. The girl won but he gave her a run for her money! Im going to need that guy to show me how to work the runway one day,he worked that stage okay! I also loved the commentator he was a hoot saying, “Should she stay or should she go”?Then they played,” To the Left” by Beyonce, It was the funniest thing! The hairstylist who did the 15 yr old model’s hair won $1,000. I could buy soo much Betsey Johnson with that money! Maybe I will enter next year! Hmm?

In the V.I.P. area I got to mingle and chat with Jamie Foster of Sister 2 Sister magazine,Tiny and Toya,Sheree from the Housewives,Young Joc,Drumma Boy, Al B Sure, OMG Girls, and cutie pie Cymia!
