Celebrity Photographer Derek Blanks
Derek Blanks was nice enough to show us his alter ego pics on twitter tonite, so here they are, arent they lovely! He takes my pics for editorials and he does excellent work! The ladies pics came out very nice but some like Kim’s was no surprise. They should have had her as a country singer or something like that. I also didnt like Kandis alter ego, I know someone she knew was in an accident but it just didnt flow with the other ladies. I think all in all, they came out fab! Sheree to me,has always been photogenic. She looked absolutely gorgeous in her pics. Lisa’s pics were cute, but we like her on the show for being that. I would have liked to see her in a different light. NeNe’s pics was not realistic to me at all. Who strips with biker shorts on? I know she is a thick girl but come on now,shorts at a strip club? Maybe she was trying to have respect for her hubby Greg, I dont know. Check out pics below! Some photos are by Robert Long.
Kim Zolciak alter ego was fun Stepford wife meets mistress! She looks pretty!
Lisa Wu’s Hartwell’s Alter Ego was cute, loved the tough girl, good girl!
Kandis Buruss pic was a big disappointment, I liked Nene’s first idea of the wedding photos. this doesn’t flow with the other ladies.
Nene Leakes, I’m not feeling this pic because who strips with gym shorts on?
Sheree Whitfield,this is my fav pics hands down! She is a very pretty lady and very photogenic!

My take:
Kim- Mistress? Looks like her everyday… Nothing new, thats what she is… She should have done a trailer park drunk/ socialite drunk- oh, wait…. Thats too similar as well
Lisa- Cute
Kandi- great picture, but it looks more like a PSA for drunk driving…
Nene- a cheap version of RuPaul (oh, yes I did)…. She looks like a transvestite more and more.
Sharee- can we get a more telling photo? Her mean face is actually quite nice, but the victim face- terrible….
I loved Kandi’s pics, I think all the photos came out well. I am so sick of Ne-Ne trying to be something she is not; a lady. The 15 min. of fame has gone into overtime.
Mr. Blanks is definitely a force to be reckoned with! The man is great at what he does.
Sheree’s photo look the most beleivable to me LOL. I like NeNe & Lisa Also. Kim- that black wig was not becoming. Thanks for all of the pics.
As a photographer myself, I am irritated by Lisa’s picture because in her two alter-egos, the light sources are from two sides and it looks fake, although I liked both of the looks. Kim looks pathetic. She should’ve done trailer trash/socialite. Much more fitting.
Sheree’s expressions are so great. Kandi’s looks good but it doesn’t go with the other pictures.

I thought all of the pics were great. No matter what people think of them, they are making money. People are watching them. I don’t agree with everything that they do. However, if I were in front of a camera I might do the same for some money. I am also a housewife who doesn’t have as much money to spend as they do. This is why I watch them. My housewife friend is a photographer. We might just do our own. Great job Derek Blanks.
